lol i used to live on highway 17, right next to the lexington reservoir. on these 90 degree weather days Highway 17 can get extremely congested. usually around 2-5PM on the weekends. if you aren't a huge fan of splitting i'd recommend taking 17 to Summit Rd, then Summit to San Jose- Soquel Rd. a lot less traffic, and the locals go 50 mph on that road, unless you run into the occasional city liver who goes exactly the speed limit
