I love the irony in this scene. Joker is imprisoned but he's the one with all the power.
-
" Where are they? " Batman asked calmly.
-
"You compleeeeete meeeee." So fucking good.
-
This scene won Ledger the Oscar.
-
Imagine the frustration when you punch someone in the face and he laughs even louder with each hit
-
Batman is beating the hell out of Joker and still the Joker music plays in the background, so you know who is actually winning.
-
"They are only as good as the world allows them to be." That is an example of fucking amazing script
-
Christian Bale and Heath Ledger really did a perfect job for their roles.
-
Plot twist: Joker accidentally switched the addresses because he was fuzzy after all the hits he took
-
this clip alone is better than the entire suicide squad movie.
-
"They need you right now, but when they don't, they'll cast you out''. True words.
-
“LOOK AT YOU GO” for Some reason I love it when he says that line
-
Thanos: You should have gone for the head Joker: Never start with the Head..
-
To think that Ledger actually wanted to take real hits during this scene is what truly scares me
-
The fact that Heath literally asked Bale to hit him as hard as he could for this scene, shows that dispite the injuries, he wanted to give the best performance that he and Bale had to offer to the audience and boy....did they pull it off amazingly. Heath is a legend
-
“All it takes is one bad day. One bad day and then suddenly, everything’s a little bit funnier””
-
Even if the Joker loses, he wins.
-
Let's be honest, this isn't your first time here.
-
Nothing will ever top this performance in a comic book movie. Heath Ledger created fucking magic with this role.
-
Its amazing how no matter how universally praised this performance is, it still somehow feels underrated over 15 years later.
