“where do you even see this font?” every middle school project on ancient egypt
-
Ryan acted the shit out of that.
-
All those back after watching papyrus 2😄😄
-
The fact that this sketch ends with the word papyrus written in comic sans font is the true evil genius of whoever edited this and I can't believe people aren't talking about it more 😂
-
The comic sans logo at the end is perfection. Best SNL skit in years
-
I will always love that Gosling acted his heart out in this one.

As an editor, I am aware of Papyrus font. Saw Avatar 2 a few days ago for the first time. When the in-movie subtitles popped up, I said "ah, papyrus" aloud without thinking much. My sister said to me "you saw the skit?" and I had no idea what she was talking about. Never saw it. Then she showed me it. Died of laughter. Absolutely brilliant.

Ken and Papyrus guy have got to be some of Ryan's best roles. He puts so much into being so grounded yet so eccentric
-
The fact that they wrote papyrus in comic sans is the finest detail
-
One of Gosling's best roles.
-
Easily a top 10 SNL sketch imo. Not even a debate. Simple concept, great execution, brilliant acting.
-
Best line: "Whatever they did, IT WASN'T ENOUGH!!" That line is just asking to be memed
-
“Well whatever they did… it wasnt… ENOUGH!!” A single line worthy of a thousand Oscars.
-
A guy behind me in the cinema muttered Papyrus to his friend when Avatar 2 was about to start and I was creasing with laughter
-
Ryan Gosling's performance in this is stellar and hilarious as heck, that Comic Sans ending and that table flip is personal.
-
Steven Wingding brings this skit full circle. All time fave skits
-
As a Graphic Designer, may I just say that this was not an over reaction
-
you just KNOW that this sketch came about because it had been legitimately bothering one of SNL’s writers. this sketch is equal parts comedy and therapy
-
Please, SNL, you must make a sequel to this sketch for Ryan Gosling's new appearance! New Avatar movies deserve to have this revisited.

The closing title "papyrus" written in COMIC SANS is a genius comedy nugget hidden in plain sight.
