Welcome, friends! This is the Fisch Racing 1JZ-GTE powered Lexus IS300, fitted with their JZ to CD 6-speed bellhousing kit. This one was a handful, but not even remotely in the same way that the 2JZ or 1UZ powered IS300s were that I drove recently. It's snappy! The UZ was snappy too, but not in the way the power was put down. This one's different. Enjoy!

    As the owner of an IS300 powered by a turbocharged 2JZ-GE and backed by a T56 Magnum-F transmission, I watched this video with great interest and fun. You did a great job highlighting how fun this older SXE10 chassis can be when given 2-3x the power that Toyota originally gave us. Great job!

    I’m a Toyota/Lexus guy. So I had to tune into this video I had my is300 for 7 years now. These are sports sedans just dying for modifications I remember when no one cared about these cars in the US

    This is basically the exact build that I want one day. Love what this guy did with it! 🙂 Always loved the IS300 look. With a manual, and about 500 WHP. And the soundss from this 1J are awesome. 1J or 2J, as long as my car sounded as great as this, I'll take either onee. 4:34 The soundssss. 😯 The steering wheel this guy chose looks sweet. And I always thought the stock IS300 gauges looked dope. The wheels are dope also! Nice review!
