Judge and Ohtani both are 2 of the best players of all-time. First Ballot HOFs and a blessing to the sports world.

I gotta give it to Ohtani, because he's a pitcher recovering from surgery... Geez...

Funny how the only time ESPN mentions baseball, it has to involve Dodgers and Yankees.

  • Do any of you have any idea how absurd it is for an “injured pitcher” or a “non position player” to have almost 30 SB and be on pace for at least 40 on the year?? Ohtani is a natural athlete. Put him in the outfield or any base and I bet he catches on real quick. Babe Ruth did it but Ruth also didn’t play against Black players, Japanese pitchers or Hispanic players and he only had to play against half the teams that there are today. Willie Mays is the greatest player ever. I can’t put Ty Cobb or Babe Ruth over Mays. Ted Williams and Hank Aaron is probably the closest to Mays.

I wonder if aaron judge will break his own HR record
  • It’s to bad they both got late starts in there MLB career. Ohtani didn’t join till he was 23 and Judge was 24 when he made his debut at the end of the 2016 season and didn’t start his first full season till 2017 just weeks before his 25th birthday. I can only imagine both of there numbers right now if they would have started when they were 19-20 years old. Juan Soto came in as a 19 year old 6 years ago and is still only 25 and will probably have 200 career home runs before the season is over. Judge will have around 320 career HR at the end of this season his 7th season. If he came in as a 19 yr old he would be very close to 600HR as a 32 yr old who is obviously still in his prime. Soto is a solid 40 HR a season guy. If Soto stays healthy into his late 30’s I can see him approach 700 HR. Ohtani is a legit 45-50 HR a season player. He just turned 30 and will finish his 6th season with about 220 HR.
