This man constantly makes me feel like theres a whole world hidden in the apple works suite of apps. Makes me want to switch to all the free apple options but im so used to my applications that ive payed for lol.

For the last few years I have been using just the apple calendar, notes and reminders apps and they have everything I need. I do agree the sub task in reminders is puzzling.
  • @youtube_user4422
Totally agree with the start date and due date. This would make me switch 100%. The ability to have a start and end date for task duration would be great

The lack of integration between Reminders, Calendar, Contacts, Safari, etc. is the thing that frustrates me more than anything else!
  • Incredible… 6 years with my reminders app on iPad and I never knew anything you just taught us. Thanks
  • @daniellip1243
I wish there is progress bar for tasks to visualise how close are you to finishing all tasks within a list

Great video! You’ve captured all the goodies here. I love Apple reminders. It gets great improvements each year and I run my life out of it. Very easy to use with Siri and the Kanban view is a huge improvement for project management.

Thanks for the in-depth coverage of Reminders. I appreciate your work. Blessings on your day!
  • Doing chores right now but definitely coming back later. I have severe CRS (Can’t Remember Stuff) so that inbox idea is perfect

I like how granular you get in this video - super helpful!
  • @RichardAllum
Another really good video. You can use early reminder for start dates now.
  • Really cool video, it inspired me to organize my own productivity system with my Apple’s built-in suite! Wanted to point out one thing though, the shortcut you shared works well except for this one small bug. When running the shortcut over a Safari page and using an external keyboard, the shortcut is unable to take in any input from the keyboard. You have to get to on-screen keyboard to show up. Just wanted to put it out there in case anybody else runs into this issue!

I agree! It must get faster -- don't know how, but it seems pretty time-taking right now. Especially when you're in a hurry, it feels really tedious to add a reminder with the corresponding List, Date, Time etc
  • @radjinderG
Brilliant - this is the video I was so searching for! Thanks for the detailed and perfect setup.
  • @philippkeil5358
Awesome video as always. You can quickly add subtasks by adding them as if they were regular tasks and then swiping to the right and choose „indent“ (I hope that is what it’s called in English 😬)

17:54 the two things I really are Reminders need a option in the inspector panel to show selected reminder or Today’s reminders in calendar app. And definitely link /auto fill notes from Notes apps to the notes section of Reminders, Calendar and Contacts and have the Notes apps be the reservoir for notes fields of the varying apps. I still find Reminders is a little bit clunky and cumbersome to use. I add Reminders to it, but then I never go back into it since I mainly live in my calendar app but I love the powerfulness of Reminders and the Notes app. I’ll try to incorporate some of your techniques you just showed here, but Apple definitely needs to take a lot of your suggestions and add them to Reminders app. 👍
  • @suzanner3894
EXCELLENT video. This is the best deep dive into reminders that I’ve seen.
  • @joelmaurer8190
I complete agree on your request to have Reminders to show in the calendar. Hopefully that is something Apple changes in the future.
  • That calendar 📆 view is the one feature that has kept me from using it. Thanks for great video.
