Did Blueys Grandma's DEATH Cause Chilli's MISCARRIAGE...or did it cause Memory Loss?? (Bluey Theory)

What if it’s a bit of both? I’ve seen some people theorise that Chilli’s mum died of cancer (which contributes to why she’s so paranoid about her dad’s health decline). So what if she got the diagnosis around fairytale and lost the battle during Chilli’s pregnancy?

I think another reason Chili didn’t remember meeting Bandit in Fairytale is that it OBVIOUSLY had a bigger impact on Bandit then Chili. I mean, she DID break his jinx that was on him for a whole damn day and maybe longer, but to her she was just helping someone get their hat. That instance would obviously stick with Bandit more than with Chili, though he probably didn’t know he’d ultimately get married to her, and might have also only realized it was Chili after thinking it over years later when they already got married.

"Dragon" is such a wholesome episode in my opinion (although it's not something new with Bluey). While pretty dark, these theories are definitively very interesting !

In my theory, I think this happened: Chilli became pregnant with the unborn baby, then her mom died. Chilli became so stressed that she had a miscarriage. Brandy had miscarriages too, and they both tried getting pregnant together. Chilli was able to have Bluey, Brandy was happy for her. Brandy kept trying to get pregnant, but was unable to, while Chilli had Bingo. Because then when Brandy visited Chilli and saw how successful she was, Brandy got jealous that her younger sister was able to grow a family, while she was unable to. They fought, then they fought about their mom, then they stopped talking for four years. That’s my theory, yes it sounds ridiculous, but I am only thirteen, so 😅

It could even be a possibility that the miscarriage wasn’t caused by the stress of her mom’s death. Maybe there was the hope of having life after death but then she had the miscarriage and it added the how hard it was to lose her mom

I think her mom passed during her 1st pregnancy which caused a miscarriage because (and this may be a bit of a stretch) in "Dragon" Chili is wearing this green cape thingy, and yet Bingo wears the same shade of green shirt in "baby show" when the balloon pops. subtle and random, but I wonder if that colour has more meaning to it.

Poor Chilli can't seem to get a break, as far as her past is concerned...

I always thought that Grandma Cattle had some kind if terminal illness that worked slowly and could take years to claim a life. Yes, it's not a weird thing for parents to encourage their children, but the way she spoke to and stroked Chili, it felt like she knew her time with her children was limited.

I have a bit if a theory about dragon, I think that the horse that chilli drew in the story was meant to represent her mum,as it has similar colours. Then, at the end when it flys that is meant to represent when she passed away.

I feel like there could also be a rift between Chillis family due to how similar brandy looks to their mother. We can also see that the flashback in Dragon depicts Chillis mother younger than the picture thats up in the Heeler home. This could just be an oversight as well due to more inconsistencies with fur markings as the photo Brandy and their mother are 1:1 the same pattern wise while in Dragon she doesn't look like brandy at all. I do think her death happened after fairy tale but before the wedding as bandit doesnt talk about chillis mother at all either in memory or in stories of his own.

As a mom who has had grandparents that passed away before my 5 and 8.5 year olds were born,and ,with my best friend having had a couple of miscarriages, it’s hard to explain grief in general. My best friend is like Frisky for my kids: she’s their godmother/aunt. Thankfully she’s currently about to have her first baby soon and if Chili is anything like myself- she might not have been able to express, or explain to the kids who this person is or why you’re so upset. I often myself am unable to even tell stories about my own family who have passed away especially without crying. So it’s nice to feel seen with Chili’s representation of her grief.

When I got this notification, I thought it was pretty sad…after I watched it it’s still sad but it makes sense, another great theory from margie! ❤

I really think that grandpa bob might pass away in the sign and perhaps bandit will be looking for signs and then chilli will tell him about the signs she got from her mother in season three and even possibly season one as well and how you just have to look for them and feel your loved ones close I learned that with my three special doggies

7:01 - 7:04 This is a small detail I picked up but did any one notice when the balloon popped in the show. Bluey eyes quickly darted at bingo and she she went silent. I still think Bluey was probably 3- 4 1/2 and a third baby was going to happen and she was old enough to understand it but the miscarriage happened and she understood how sad it made her mother feel. Plus the extra detail in the beginning of the bedroom episode where you can see Bluey hold her mother’s hand to comfort her when taking down the baby room. Bluey is clearly close to her mother. I had a theory about rainbow children being close to the mom like this. While it possible for Chili to have 2 miscarriages in her life one before Bluey and one after bingo. Plus if Chili’s mum did die in 1988 mort definitely didn’t let chili watch land before time.

Here's what I think: 1980- Chili was born, 1987- fairytale flashback- chili meets bandit. In the 90s they started dating then in the mid 2000s(2005) they get enganged and in the late 2000s or early 2010s chilli became pregnant and she had the miscarriage, because her mom died and as result she waited awhile to try again and have more kids because of the greiff then she had bluey 4 years later, then Bingo was born. Then Brandy coun'dnt handle it because she was able to have kids but she had infertility issues and they slipt apart for 4yrs.

I think it more likely that Chilli lost her mother before Bluey was born and it contributed to the miscarriage.

This could be a total coincidence but Bingo is wearing a green shirt when the balloon pops and Chili draws herself wearing a cloak with the exact same green color

I agree with it being that her mother passed away when she was age 9 or 10. Sometimes people who lost their parents at any age will still grieve a loss. Although I'm 24 and my Grandma died in 2019 and i was 19 or 20 I'm still grieving and also still grieving my grandfather's passing too. It's possible but i believe she was 10 when she lost her. Also you can't cause infertility from grief not even a short period or long-term grief could cause a miscarriage.
