Sonic Generations came to give us nostalgia Now Sonic Generations it's part of that nostalgia

This song just screams "Yeah, we're back in City Escape. Go ahead and re-live your childhood all over again."
  • 2:19 my god that little homage to It Doesn’t Matter is so appreciated. It feels like a love letter to the adventure era.

Was I the only that had a heart attack when I saw the new G.U.N truck?
  • It's rare that a game puts a beaming smile on my face and makes me feel like a kid again. Sonic Generations nailed it. Not just through nostalgia, but because it was one of the finest platformers that I've ever played, even in a post- Hat in Time and Super Mario Odyssey world. As much bullshit as Sonic has seen through the years, Generations proved that our little blue friend is worthy of his legacy. Sonic Generations made me smile so much, and ranks alongside Bloodborne, Dead Cells, the Castlevania DS games, Dark Souls 3, Golden Sun, Final Fantasy IX, the first three Mega Man X games, and Devil May Cry 3 & 4 as my favorite games of all time. Long live Sonic the Hedgehog!

The "It doesn't matter" melody coming in at 2:17 makes me feel so happy and I can't explain why. It felt like being taken back to a simple, better time in life while enjoying myself with some classic blue blur gameplay. It was perfect.

2:18 that's why I prefer this over the classic version.

You know a game's soundtrack is good when you're consistently coming back to listen to it nearly 10 goddamn years after it's original release. You can just hear the happiness in Ted Poley's voice, and that, in turn, brings a smile to my face. Gets me a little choked up even. Shit. Now my eyes are sweating. Be right back-

The part between 2:19 and 2:49 is BEYOND perfection, espacially the "It doesn't matter" reference. The nostalgia hit me when I first heard this OST(sorry for my bad english).
