The narrator has such a soothing tone to his voice that many nights I fall into sleep during a reading, this pleasant experience allows me to go back over many stories as if they are new to me.

I just realized that a scene from this story is the basis for the picture used in all the thumbnails for these videos. “I lay back against the cushions, puffing at my cigar, while Holmes, leaning forward, with his long, thin forefinger checking off the points upon the palm of his left hand, gave me a sketch of the events which had led to our journey.”

Fantastic! You have a talent for being simultaneously very soothing, but also so exciting and skilled in your narration that it's difficult to stop listening. This is why, depending on mood of your audience, you can either lull us into relaxation, or keep us on the edge of our seats listening with bated breath. Kudos to Mr. Wagland. After listening to all of his Holmes recordings, he is now “the voice” of the series. It is the strangest thing - it is so relaxing to listen, but the stories are too engaging to fall asleep.
