Elon Musk's greatest lifetime achievement will be slightly humanizing Mark Zuckerberg.
-
Imagine the EV fires in those tunnels.
-
How did anyone, ever think that digging tunnels was some high-tech futuristic solution to anything?
-
Zuckerberg making that sword is the billionaire version of all those mall ninja kid videos.

I watch your show almost everyday. I am an oilfield worker for over 10 years in the United States. If are work sites had as many safety hazards and say I safety violations, our job site would have been shut down or probably run off location and replaced with a different company. I would venture to say working in the oilfield is safer than that tunnel under Vegas

"I'm sorry Dave, I can't draw caucasian" - the AI 😂

A court wanting my browser history is my worst nightmare.

The new Elizabeth Line, a fantastic upgrade to London's underground network, each train carries 1500 people. Arrive every 10 min max. Took 11 years to complete. Worth the wait.
-
"Batman villains running amuck" was right there!
-
Every time someone brings up the Vegas "loop", I'm thinking about Copenhagen autonomous subway system - a whole system of underground trains, a couple of lines, lots of stations and it somehow works without any human driver. Yet, Tesla is still considered to have the most advanced self-driving technology XD

Could have built infrastructure and become a champion of the people. Opted for useless vanity projects that actually do more harm than good. Trickle down economics people. It just works.
-
We just keep arriving at trains. ACCEPT THE TRAIN. It is the crab of transport convergent form

It took me a minute before I caught on that when they referenced the Boring Company, that it's the name of the company because they are a deep digging company, and not because they think the company is so boring the can't even be bothered to call it by it's name.

In the short month or so since I first found your videos, you two, with your insights and self-deprecating humor and beautiful sarcasm, have become a highlight in my daily news consumption. Excellent work. Thank you.

i’m so glad i found this channel. I used to watch your guys machinma etc stuff in high school with friends in the mornings.

The really funny part about hearing that Twitter can't ban blatant bots is that MY Twitter account was banned for being a bot when I never even use it. I don't even think I'd ever tweeted anything, and if I did I hadn't tweeted anything in years by the time it was banned because their "systems that find and remove automated spam X accounts flagged mine by mistake which can happen if an account exhibits automated behavior in violation of their rules." When, again, I hadn't tweeted anything in years.

I would hate to see the lives that might be lost, but imagine a Tesla battery catching fire in the tunnel, no emergency exit in sight, and smoke chasing after you.
-
I feel like if multiple companies you own consistently and routinely violate safety laws and regulations there should be way more consequences than a fine that equates to a traffic ticket considering the worth of these companies.

Been there done that, I have this t-shirt from working in underground infrastructure projects. You don't notice discomfort while it's happening. The worst, is you get damp all over, and the elastic waistband of your underwear eats a burn ring into you around your waist. Very bad, for about the next week. No reason for this crap nowdays. This stuff can be neutralized, or even easier is diluting it and pumping it away from workers. We even used to send guys up to shower and change clothes when exposing them to "too" much for short periods was unavoidable.

I like how you describe Twitter's ad revenue structure in essentially the same way one would describe an MLM.
