They should add an achievement/advancement called A Complete Cata-Dog for taming all the dog types

Fun fact actually: striped hyenas aren't cats or dogs, they belong to the hyaenidae family which is in the feliformia suborder. I do wish Mojang would have given them a new mod with a unique model and such that has the hyena's key features such as a long neck and mane.

It would be cool if tamed versions of certain breeds could help you find rare structures like trail ruins, jungle temples, etc. Like they run there and bark if one is near.

I love that they added real wolf-like animal types, like the striped hyena (striped wolf), African wild dog (spotted wolf), Arctic wolf (snowy wolf), and dhole (rusty wolf). Even the husky in the form of the ashen wolf

Yes the bare minimum!! For real though, I’m glad they’re finally adding simpler things to pad the update a bit. Nothing annoying or taken away from actual development either, just simple biome specific thing with a simple texture change, that really should’ve been added LONG AGO! Personally I think biomes should be just that, have a few structures and biome specific things that don’t effect gameplay unless you want it unlike the cough COUGH VILLAGER CHANGES COUGH cough.

They should add the mini boss update. Have structures around the world that have bosses/mini bosses that you can find. Have the bosses drop special late stage items and a key to access all the loot. The mincraft World is really limited in boss battles, in my opinion. They should make a variation boss for each biome that randomly spawn. Use treasure maps to find specific bosses

Just as having tamed all cats is called 'A complete Catalogue'. The dogs should also have an achievement named as 'Leader of the Pack'. 😊

What we need now is a popular farm design that spawns a bunch of these new doggo types and then promptly sends them to their fiery death. It's only fair, silent. IT'S ONLY FAIR.
