Published 2022-04-22
You are a cactus in a rainforest. Why? The food we eat has evolved much faster than our genetics. Our modern diet is filled with processed foods our bodies were not built for. This causes hormonal imbalances that can lead to a multitude of diseases. That’s why eating whole foods is so important.

In 1998, this man saved my life when other cardiologists gave up. I have made the lifestyle changes he recommended and I am now 80 years old. It is amazing to workout everyday. I have followed his fasting recipe for 3 years now. It is works miracles. When you eat whole food, the desire for junk food diminishes. Your weight automatically regulates. No need for diets!

Finally, a cardiologist who's knowledgeable about nutrition.

I switched to OMAD-no-sugar- low-carb-wholefood diet after watching one of his lectures this January. Lost 10kg and got healthier, sharper. Period is on time, face is smoother. Was on a diet of processed food, smoothies, and 3 meals a day before that. Take charge of your life guys.

I’ve been addicted to these lectures ever since I watched the first one.. 3 months into OMAD and haven’t looked back.

Finally a doctor telling it like it is. Most of the doctors are afraid to talk this candid and the clinics they work for don’t want to upset the patient.

I started listening to you tonight & it stopped me immediately in my tracks. I am a mindless eater not even thinking what I am doing. Tonight I started to cry & realized what your saying is actually the truth. What am I doing to myself. Tonight is my night for change. I am gonna start fasting ASAP 14/10. The boxes are going. Thank you for being straight & bluntly honest. That is what people actually need to hear- truth. I'm sub'in.

I love these lectures so easy to understand. I have lost 154lbs 70 of those lbs have been since finding these videos. The rest has been over years of frustrating hard work of yo yo dieting...since cutting out all the rubbish, I feel amazing. I am walking my first marathon in May as I am able to walk again after 2 years of being on crutches due to my weight and inflammation. If I can do it...ANYONE CAN. I still have crazy moments when I reach for food I shouldn't be eating but I simply dust myself off and carry on. I prefer healthy nourishing food that taste good now. Thank you for this video. 🥰❤️

I saw the bittersweet truth and decided to try to cut sugar for a month. I was familiar with intermittent fasting but when I didn't fast I was eating all the wrong foods. So I didn't see results. After I cut sugar, most of the things I bought from the supermarket, were forbidden. It was hard.I was thinking about sweets all of the time, but as time went by it got better. Now I've been doing this for a month and a half. I have lost 6 kilos, I feel less bloated, the sugar cravings have subsided, and I skip a meal a day. I eat fruits but I try to eat the seasonal ones.I feel better. So I will continue doing that and hopefully I will manage to eat only once a day, some days of the week, still it seems difficult. My advice for anyone who is reading, if you have health and weight issues. Give it a try. For a month. And if it doesn't work forget about it. But it will work if you stick to it. Its kind like the diabetes nutrition, but without frequent lunches. No sugar, no processed food and intermittent fasting combined.

'You are better than your habits, you can do it' he said.... so true ! Thank you Sir for that advice.
  • @chiefrocka1363
Truth. Every time I eat processed food ( even French fries that are from frozen) my stomach gets inflamed and I feel bloated. The remedy? I have to eat salad and fruit and home cooked healthy food for a week before it "flattens" again. Yes, I'm that guy and I'm still working on myself and saw this before watching this lecture. This lecture was eye opening and confirmed what I've seen in myself.
  • I've lost 16 lbs in 1 month and 1 week of IF and low carb + heavy exercise. went from 220 to 194. my goal weight for the last 2 years has been 190. I feel so much better overall. I also dropped 90% of my drinking (since it was late at nignt) I am so thankful for these real drs and videos. I rarely get tired at work. my performance across the board in what I do has tripled.
  • I followed his advice 4 months ago and have lost 16 pounds!!! Love his mission and his passion for helping others 😊 I feel healthier and happier than ever. I've tried it all... and his work is the only thing that has ever made since to me. Thank goodness!
  • @storyteller1225
I'd like him to talk about what TO eat, not what NOT to eat. I've done sooooo well by his advice, lost 20 pounds a year for each of 3 years. And one meal a day works! No processed, no sugar. Inflammation is down so much I can work all day in the garden and not be tired. Cactus in a Rainforest, getting a bumper sticker of it. I will.
  • The book " Sugar Busters" was published decades ago and apparently they knew what they were talking about, sugar, and thus insulin makes you store fat and makes it almost impossible to lose it.
  • @dianeoneil5376
I wish there were more doctors like you. You have changed my life. Thank you, Dr. J!
  • @sheliaglenn3048
You have been given a gift from God to break this down in such laymen's terms and you are funny! I love your videos! Lightbulb, mind-blowing moments every time. Definitely helps me as I adopt this healthy lifestyle. I love it! I FEEL AMAZING WHEN I EAT HEALTHY UNPROCESSED FOODS. WHEN I DON'T I FEEL LIKE CRAP,
  • @zaharabardavid
You have no idea the people you're helping, Dr. Jamnadas. After first discovering you, I immediately stopped eating bread. Then I started making a "cereal" for my first meal of the day (whenever I'm hungry) that consists of chia seeds, ground flax seed (I grind it), blueberries, a spoonful of yogurt and walnuts. I lost 3 inches on my waist in a month. My husband's blood pressure used to be 139/85 and now it's 118/76. Thank you, Dr. Jamnadas. You should write a book!

I love seeing this channel grow. He’s such an honest and helpful person. One of the few people in the world publicly promoting real health, and he’s academic background only makes this better.
  • @jennifermarlow.
Thank you, Doctor! I just watched your interview with Dr Rangan Chatterjee this week, ending my initial research into fasting. I started IF 2 days ago; have not eaten sugar for over 6 months, and no processed foods for many years, so it was easy! I'm not even hungry until after I do my morning exercise. I tried that, after Dr. Chatterjee's account about his son doing the run before eating. I've kept my A1C 'on the edge' all my life. Now, I look forward to ridding myself of insulin issues. Going to watch your full lecture now. Peace & love to you.
