@brianbrian81 Its a Harbercraft extreme duty, and your right, we couldn't have gone left, there was not enough water. When you run over the rock, you always back right off on the throttle or shut it right down. the noise you hear is the rocks on the haul not in the impeller. That impeller lasted two years/seasons. The grate was plugged that's why we got stuck. We shutter down, kicked the grate and kept boating all day. No damage.
  • @EricNielsen187 Nice country. you got some great wilderness up there. You are very lucky to live there.

@EricNielsen187 yeah I can relate to that! I got stuck last week on a rock bar on the red deer river because i had some shit stuck in my ez clean. it took 4 hours and a lot of grunting to get it off! seems like always the worst times when impeller =intake gets plugged and you need the jet to get your ass through some mean stuff! was out yesterday had a blast! enjoy dude!

Everything was fine, We kept boating for several more hours. The boats are designed to take a beating like that.

LOL I'm pretty shure there was like a mile long rock/sand bar there bro.

You guys need to come down to Riggins, Id. and run the Salmon river with us.
  • @madtacc
how did that turn out for you? where you at? got to love the extreme hey!!
  • @brianbrian81
What model of boat is that. I have the white water 1875 but the problem is its a little big and heavy for the smaller rivers.

@Paintballboy54 North of Blue Ridge on 658. Just east of Whitecourt. Can't remember the name of the river. Just look on Google earth, tons of back channels there.

Hehe always fun hitting clay with the boat either instant brakes or kicks you out. Same thing happened to me in my 1775XD.we were going around a corner hit clay on the one side spun us sideways and didnt make the corner at least we didnt have to push the teflon saved us just slid back into the water.
  • @BAMITsJACOB
is thatt the clear water river in fort mcmurray alberta?
  • @seeinstripes
Looks like you could have sacrificed that first log on the left and shot the gap. Isn't hindsight great?

Those boats are designed to take some what of a beating but they are not meant to suck in rocks like that!! your impeller will be destroyed. I have a harbercraft with the 350 in it and i jump lots of rock bars but the trick is to let off the throtle when you cross. Also I invested in a cheap 2000lb winch to pull yourself out of that kind of shit so you dont suck a bunch of rocks up

I'm trying to get more videos from my other brothers as well, But their videos are full HD and hard to convert for youtube.

@b3n189 Funny how everyone is an expert. The log we hit had a pile of clay in front of it, that is why we went around. Clay equals instant brakes.
