I still remember the first time I heard "This is my last resort" sometime in the beginning of Summer of 2000. I was 15 and I was trying call my friends via the home cable phone.. no one was at home and the cruel part was that no one called me to go out with them. I remember how I was staring through my room's window and just said in my thoughts "this is my last time trying to continue with the friends I feel they are not my friends anymore"... then I just turned the tv to try find something funny to distract me from the tough toughts ... and this is how I stumbled on the VIVA tv channel playing the new hit from Papa Roach. It just clicked with my soul so damn right ... to this day, 24 years later, I still don't allow any toxic person to stay in my life! Papa Roach - My Last Resort is the fuel for this part of my personality!

'Cut my song into pieces' - Papa Roach on censorship
  • I'm 37 - turned the radio on today, and mid verse lyrics, I just joined in. Some songs just hit your blood stream memory and you know every word โค ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
  • The video is genius. You may feel alone in your bedroom with the music as your sole comfort but all ages and races can come together for the music

I was 20 when this song came out in 2000. I wasn't suicidal or a cutter, but this song still captured how I felt, like an outcast, outsider, never really fitting in, feeling lonely, feeling ugly, it captured all the feelings I had and put it on a song. I felt the same with Linkin Park too, their music helped lift me out of my darkness. Thanks music, you've always been there for me ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿค˜
  • When my daughter was a toddler these guys were popular on the rock station. She named her ballerina stuffed bunny, "Papa Roach"...sweet memory unlocked. She's 19 now. โ™ก
  • This song was big hit in Europe in 2000. Very popular in teen and under 25 years.

The clean version of this song is like robbing a bank without taking the money
