It's great when a corporation sends an honest speaking engineer type of guy, instead of a marketing person who watches his words to ensure he's always "selling the brand". Tadge was a great guest for this car.

Tadge is the absolute gold standard as an automotive engineer and GM should clone him asap. He’s cyborg knowledgeable and at the same time extremely personable. I’ve seen him a dozen times on various shows excitedly talking about the Vette and all its iterations. His sincerity and enthusiasm always comes through. I think he could happily talk about this car 24/7! A great guy. 👍

That engineer is amazing. Whatever he is being paid it’s not enough. I’m a Porsche guy and have been all my life. And I am really impressed by every model in the C8 line.

This gentleman is a perfect spokesman for GM. He is knowledgeable and so easy to listen to. Great job. Thank you, Jay, for showcasing this U.S. made masterpiece.

This is why this is THE car channel. Other ones usually try to over produce or just have a guy talking about the car (mainly off of the spec sheet and opinions) while Jay can get CEOs and Engineers to come talk about their product. 💯🏆

Tadge Juechter is the single, most interesting, car guy to listen to. He is an amazing source of current engineering information and even historical Corvette history. He is a 1 of 1.
  • This is the right guy for this job,he speaks like a car guy and not a scientist or physicist, this product is amazing and more importantly built in the USA 🇺🇸
  • Very IMPRESSIVE ..! As a Norwegian senior automotive nut, I clearly see You Americans once again rise to the forefront of the industry. Keep Your place as the builder of innovative, affordable cars for the enthusiasts.

I sat in my first corvette at the age of 4 in 1953 at a Dealer unveiling, I remember it like it was yesterday, the Dealer who was a friend of My Fathers lifted me up and stood me on the driver seat and said , look Patrick they make one just your Size …. From then on I was in love with corvette…❤

I love these new, long-form episodes. I could listen to Jay talk about cars for hours on end.

This is the most useful and entertaining car review I've seen. With Jay's "everyman" approach to his questions, combined with his understanding and passion for automobile engineering and Tadge's simple and eloquent explanation of every aspect of the E-Ray's development and execution, I didn't want the video to end! As someone else commented, how refreshing to see an OEM rep honestly enthused and honestly presenting the product. Every manufacturer's marketing department should watch and learn.

You can see 36:32Tadge’s face of satisfaction for everything they’ve achieved with this great piece of engineering, I can only guess how many meetings, dead ends, sleepless nights, hours away of family and more hurdles and it all comes down to this, a perfect piece of machinery that represents the effort of an amazing team and delivers joy to thousands of enthusiast all over the country and the world, simply the face of self pride.

As a car enthousiast from Europe I very much appreciate the Jay Leno car program. He nows where he talks about and with passion. Plus always detailed and in a atractive presentation.
  • It wouldn't be a Jay Leno car video without the beeping that goes on when he goes over the line without signalling! What an amazing car!
  • @kipsimpson2332
This engineer is an amazing teacher. Such a great guest. GM is lucky to have him.
  • @LnNineteen
The battery having its own chiller system is awesome. Coming from a hvac tec this was very impressive to me

14:00 Going back to the roots of American production muscle. Windings and E-Motors build in America! Way to go Tadge and GM!
