These are classic computers, and my favourite type too, built with such high quality and care.

That windows booting is nostalgic, the fantastic thing is that it reminds of the sun behind me, the smell of my old house. Thanks for that experience.

I find those beeping and growling sounds nostalgic. I'm getting old.

This was my first laptop. Bought one at a first saturday sale used and not working in 1998 for $50. Put a hard drive in and installed Windows 95 and AOL 3.0. Those were the good 'ol days.

I had one just like that. The black dot on the right of the screen is a tiny trackball, and the "mouse buttons" are on the other side of the lid. Quite a genius design. If you take it apart, you'll see that the LCD screen is made by Sharp :P

You can convert this into a 9" color display system just by switching out the display! This was one of the first largely produced laptops with an active-matrix color display. I used to have one and I wouldn't mind at all having one again.

oh my, this brought me good memories.

I remember this video being one of the VERY FIRST old computer videos I ever watched back when I joined youtube, and first started getting into older electronics. I actually have a LTE Elite 4/75CX that also runs Windows 95. I got THAT on ebay for 30$. Just needed a good cleaning lol. Still a great piece of history! So is this video too lol.

You can make this into a 4/25C color display model with just a display swap; the new display just plugs right in. These were some of the first computers on the market to have a TFT active matrix display as an option.

@AwesomLP The first P4's (Willamette) were slower than mid-grade P3's. The next ones were slower than high-grade P3's and low-grade Athlons. The next grade (Northwood) lost out to the Athlon Thunderbird and XP. The Prescotts still lost out to the Athlon XP and were often blast furnaces.
