Time flies, doesn’t it? Feels like just yesterday we were walking to the bus stop, with mourning doves cooing in the distance.. pretty sure we all thought they were owls and we asked ourselves: “What’s an owl doing up right now?” Man we were so innocent.. … Time doesn’t go any faster or slower, just our perception of it. we all know what time it is. A minute lasts 60 seconds when we look at the clock. But when we don’t look at it, A minute becomes the new second, 15 minutes just gets shorter, and shorter, and shorter. The more we get older, and the older we get. We all start to realize what name we’re making for ourselves. Sure.. we aren’t making history. But you might have changed someone’s life for the better today. You might have saved someone’s life by just saying hello as you walk past them in the street. You might have fed someone’s pet when you tipped your barista. Time is inevitable, physically growing older is inevitable. But mentally.. You can always go down memory lane, and be happy you have the gift to remember. Unlike some of the unfortunate old folks with Alzheimer’s.. You are fortunate, People love you, though you may not believe it.. trust me, there will always be someone who you made smile. You may have to get older.. but you don’t have to grow up.

The comment sections on these videos is just a reason to be happy, really shows that there are good people still alive.

POV: you are up at night everyone is in bed sleeping you stare at the ceiling you are thinking you have been sleeping for hours on end for a long time you are talking less you are eating less you are becoming unhygienic you are growing old you are wishing of being a child you miss being a child you are struggling with assignments you are the lowest in class others start showing hatred against you you are reminiscing those memories they are all you got they are all you have you aren't happy with life hours later you are still staring at the ceiling the sun barely paints the sky a cold and empty aura is inside you you are tired but you cannot sleep you are very very hungry but when you eat you only take a few bites you are still alive but was it worth it? you are deep in your thoughts you aren't as happy as you used to be you cannot run in the meadows you cannot let the sun set on your shoulders you cannot jump around on a trampoline without getting tired after a mere minute you still aren't happy you still lay in bed you still have assignments you still get yelled at often you still don't like life you still have problems you still can't figure out anything you still grow old hours later you still are in bed sleeping you aren't awake right now you could be dreaming of something something much better than life something that is the opposite because life has given you less than what you give to others something known as death

My buddy Joe passed on 1/23/24. Joe was a great soul. We never argued as far as I can remember. Last time I saw Joe I told him I loved him and that next time we see each other we would hit the beach and enjoy some cold ones. Never got to go to the beach Joe. But I dream of you and the rest of the homies kicking it at the beach on a sunny day, laughing, and simply loving life. I still remember your smile Joe, your laugh, how smart you were. Till my last breath, I’ll always keep you in my heart Joe. You were my best friend and I love you. Sometimes I go outside and look at the stars Joey and see you smiling. I know you are at peace. Save a spot for me Joe, and we can hit the beach. I’ll drive. Rest in peace Joseph David Vasquez.

This Playlist reminded me of a specific emotion I felt about 2 years ago. At the time I was 19, I was living with my dad and struggled to get a job while being in college. One day he called me up and said I had 2 weeks to find a job. about 1 week in and struggling, he started yelling at me and threatening to kick me out. So while he went to work I packed my car and left on a 22+ hour journey from Texas to Washington to move in with my mom. About half way there, running on no sleep, and hungry cause I was to emotional to eat. I had drove about 13 hours straight. I found a mom and pops dinner in a small small small town. The seat I was at was over looking a beautiful desert terrain. I had Country Fried Steak with eggs/Hashbrowns, biscuits and coffee. I was starting over with almost nothing, hadda drop out of college and had maybe 2k to my name. It was a moment of happiness/sorrow eating that meal. And emotions I loved but hope to never experience again

The image just gives me the feeling of nostalgia for a life I never lived.
