I did seven deployments to the Middle East. The one thing rarely mentioned is the sacrifices our Men and women in uniform make. They are away from their spouses, girlfriends, children, parents, brothers and sisters, other family members, and friends. They are leaving a place [Country, State, City, Town, etc] that they are comfortable with and going into a place they don't want to be. They are going to a place where, for the most part, they are not wanted. They leave their safety or home for a place of conflict. It is scary; you are sacrificing everything you love and have no idea if you will come home in a pine box [sorry for the graphic here]. Many people don't realize these men and women have signed a contract or taken an oath that includes the possibility that it includes their lives.

As a Navy vet of 30 years 3 deployments in combat zones, I feel so sad for the abandonment of his unit that put their lives before country. Walz has a record of being a self serving leader leading from behind in the comfort of his arms chair.

I thank this man for his service, he needs more like him to talk. Absolutely praise Cory Mills for his dedication and service.

Is Vance serious? Vance was a correspondent in the USMC. He never carried a weapon. Just look at this: After graduating from Middletown High School, Vance joined the US Marine Corps, where he served from 2003 to 2007 as a combat correspondent in a non-combative role, including a six-month deployment in the public affairs department in Iraq. WTF does he think he is as a minimalistic soldier who was merely a correspondent, attacking a 24 year veteran?????
