I love when Mario games do this. It really shows off the personalities of the characters in genuinely funny and charming moments.
  • I absolutely LOVE how Birdo and Boo completely ignore the absolute mayhem going on around them. Like, "eh, it's just any other day around here." 😂😂😂😂
  • This opening and Mario Power Tennis' intro are just hysterical. Nintendo needs to do more of these.
  • This is undoubtedly the peak of the Mario Sports game series. Little fun intros like these and special shots and moves filled with character is what we are missing in most of the recent titles. Do something like THIS again, Nintendo! You'd make SO many fans happy!

The intros for this and Mario Power Tennis are the main reasons Wario and Waluigi are my favorite Nintendo characters.

Donkey Kong: So amazing at golf he only needs to use one arm.

I forgot how blessed this is, is one of the few times we get to see mario characters on a fun animated short.
  • Is kinda relaxing to watch Boo and Birdo just playing there in the middle of the chaos xD.

You gotta admit... 0:29 Luigi's Victory Dance right there is an epic touch for the Year of Luigi. XD

I wish we had a full TV series in this style. Mario's world is so interesting, and I'd love to see more animations like this. I'm keeping my hopes up for the upcoming movie...

1:59 Bowser realizes, "Wait, running is for plebs! I have a pod with a clown face on it!"

2:06-2:12 Birdo: (Here they go again... hey Boo, let's just pretend that we didn't hear anything.) Boo: (Yeah!)
  • 0:52 You can faintly hear Wario say this: “Oh, sorry Waluigi” If this was anyone else but Waluigi he probably wouldn’t have apologised lmao

I forgot how hilarious these openings were.
