  • I never ended up pursuing the certificate (might go back for it when I have time though…), but the Google IT program gave me the confidence I needed to pursue an IT career. Now, despite having no certifications (and just about six months after having first learned about Google’s program), I’m working as a desktop administrator and make awesome money (considering this is my first IT job). Hopefully some time soon this certificate starts to get the respect it deserves. A proctored exam would be better… but the Google program taught me far better than CompTia training did.
