She explained it with absolute clarity. I'm with her, we're not having it!

Grace is like “ I lived through this sh*t before, I don’t want to live through it again”
  • When a person reaches 100 yrs old it's safe to say that they speak from experience. A word to the wise should be sufficient. Suppression of knowledge will inevitably lead to the suppression of freedom.
  • I Love this lady. As an avid reader all my life, I'm 67 and book banning and burning us on the top of my list too. My mother was German and she can tell you the same if she was still living. She was ten years old and rembered until she died it all started with book banning and burning. It was a fight to keep people ignorant about what was happening. Reading is knowledge and vitally important.

“She thinks what’s happening in Florida is really bad.” And she is absolutely correct!
  • @PirateParadox
This woman is a gift to humanity. I am just so sorry that she has had to spend so long on this earth without her husband only to be continually disappointed by societies.
  • @bennyb4505
The fact that this lady has personally witnessed 100 years of history and felt compelled to say this should resonate.
  • @mssusanmarie
Thank you Ms. Grace for being a REAL patriot. I salute you.
  • @kingjbird92
This 100 year old woman is a BOSS!!! The world needs more people like her!
  • She has the most valuable freedom of all. In the winter of her life she still cares enough for others to speak out. Thank you.

My uncle fought in Vietnam and is a diehard Conservative. He told me the other day that Desantis isn't a Conservative/Republican. He's a fascist dictator. Pretty crazy how anybody could or would ban books in a free country.
  • @rriddick8571
She has more backbone than Floridians half her age. Please, people, stand up and fight for freedom.
  • @meghan42
Fear is not freedom; Fear is control. She is absolutely correct!
  • @mefford67
”Fear of knowledge.” Powerful and true words being spoken.
  • Her husband died at age 26. I welled up when I thought about her still keeping him relevant for over 70 years. Even as frail as she appears, she is stronger than any politician today.
  • @Schmunzelfee
How awful it must be to reach 100 years of age and realize that not enough has changed in that huge timespan.
  • This should be spread across all the boards ( social media, all new network, papers, and words of mouth! We can learn something from someone who has seen what fear bring if we leave it uncheck! Thank you Ms. Grace for being the voice of reason! Wake up America, don’t let history repeat itself again! I hope Lincoln Project pick this up!

This 100-year-old woman is 100 times clearer in her head than DeCensorer.
  • I hate the story in "the Handmaid's Tale". I read it when it was first published. I would never suggest it be banned: 1) It is none of my business, 2) It is a warning of a horrible future that crept up on people who felt it would never happen to them, 3) It makes people think, 4) Children are people. It is the job of schools to teach children to think.

I got the chills and tears in my eyes listening to her. What a treasure. All the history she has seen and no doubt remember. Thank you Ms. Grace Lynn.
