appreciate the one guy you can hear shouting 'what?' a half second early. it's the thought that counts.

Shout out to the lobsters in the crowd. They really added to the joyful vibe.

That guitar break is just the bomb. A punk groove, that makes you want to dance.

Whoever this drummer is, he's a certified beast!!! 5/5 Great song too.
  • I came across some clipping of Chaise Longue last night while scrolling through youtube shorts and now Wet Leg is an instant hit for me. Praise be to the Algorithm!
  • Literally found this band by accident.. but I can honestly say it's the best accident to come along since my parents had me

You can see it clearly at 0:13 into the song. Rhian is very happy and feeling the moment because there under that big band name banner, she knows this song they are about to play got them to Glastonbury. For both of them, Glastonbury with their own band is a childhood dream come true. This is one of the biggest moments in their life.

Way back when Rhian and Hester were just a couple of friends from the Isle of Wight, when they were two not-so-successful singer-songwriters working on silly songs to crack each other up, when Rhian was occasionally kipping on Hester's chaise longue (true story) - would they have ever even imagined the whole of Glastonbury shouting, "WHAT?"
  • I was here for this and there was a family who had dragged a real Chaise Longue up the hill and we’re all stood on it singing along!

They are even more awesome live! I have been dancing round like a loon for months to this!!!

Never heard this tune before in my life but it's delightful and so are they. So there's that

At 72, I never thought that I would be amazed again with another band; seen and heard it all, yada, yada, yada. Such a superb band, stage presence, humour and the reaction from the crowd is awesome.
  • @ergolineL
I've never seen performers so calm with such a great stage presence.

For the drummer to keep it up like that is absolutely amazing 👏 it is the engine room after all right ✅️ 😀

when you watch the growd many look like they‘re in a later stage in life and it makes me so very happy that they are out here enjoying life. It‘s also not surprising how on their official music video the comment section is full of people reminicing of their own youth hearing similar music in the 90s etc.

Would love to see them live someday! Really, they look like they're having so much fun be it on stage on in their videos. Can't help but sing along and smile!
