I love the dead seriousness from scar and cub when he got the mending book. Not even a hint of laughter. And Grian’s silent kill made me burst out laughing 10/10. Now u need to ban anyone else from fishing

I kind of feel like Mumbo's burnout hiatus has gotten all Hermits to think a bit about their own health and projects. I feel as if most have scaled down this season and are focusing on what makes them happy, which in turn makes their content lively and nice to watch.

Hermitcraft season 10: final episode: Finally, reunited with beloved mending books

The fishmending saga is just so good. I love unplanned obsession. Also that timelapse-music almost made me cry, it was so beautiful, not to even mention the awesome build.

The bit with Scar at the end made me realize something. Grian killing anyone who fishes up a mending book without uttering a word should become a recursive bit. I could well envision him gradually becoming some kind of fishing cryptid that appears whenever someone fishes up the book.

"You see, I've got this weird condition called stupidity"... Almost as good as Mumbo's "That didnt work because of an oversight - the oversight being I forgot I was stupid".

Gotta tell ya the Codfather will be pleased and this bit needs to be written In a book called "The Prophecy of the Fisherman"

15:54 - 18:18 the music here added so much ambiance to the build great editing, love the fishman's quest for mending arc. Giving major fountain of youth vibes except the immortality is for armor and tools still a noble quest for any builder. Can't wait for the elytra arc

26:19 that's a feature that was added a while back, presumably to allow speedrunners to verify runs better. Every loot table has its own separate seed based on the world seed, meaning everything from block drops to fishing to piglin trading and blaze rod drops are entirely predictable if you know the world seed. There's actually a couple seeds that people have found with interesting properties since this happened, like one where the first three gravel broken always drop flint, or the first three wither skeletons you kill will always drop their skulls

In every hermitcraft season Grian has been in, he's always got a secret room or item somewhere. Manz should work for a bank. It would be both efficient and hilarious.

grain tells the audience he's not going mad, then proceeds to talk for a full 31 seconds about how the painting gets 'brighter' as he looks up at it, then steps outside and calls a snail a fish.
