once again, sony is crowned king.... with zero mention of the fatal battery issue they suffer from. the left ear bud battery will give up on you, and they will be landfilled in no time at all. they are a waste of cash unless you have cash to waste, no matter how good they are on day 1.
  • Anyone else notice that most youtube ads now look like phishing scams?

What are your thoughts on Nura Phone true Pro ear buds now offered by Denon?

What do you think of the soundcore liberty 3 pro for under 100? Sony link buds s at 150?

Samsung galaxy buds fe dissapointed me big time twice(after just 3 weeks buzzing/gray noise kills your left ear) , rocking skull candy dime 3(for work), AirPods Pro 1st gen still going strong...

OnePlus Buds3 and Oppo Enco Air3Pro should've been included as well. The Enco ones easily beat buds that cost more than double their price when it comes to sound quality!
  • I really dont recommend the Galaxy Buds FE tbh. They can be quite uncomfortable (with and without wing tip) and even after a few days mine started buzzing/crackling when using ANC or Ambient Mode. They hurt my ears like hell even after just 20 minutes of using them. Dont get me wrong, they have amazing sound and (when actually working) the ANC/Ambient Mode is amazing, but im not sure its worth risking the comfort and security of actually working.

The one thing that bothers me about the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC is the multipoint connection is NOT good. Yes it can connect to 2 devices at once, but it's not smart. I feel like as soon as I pause media on my laptop, it will automatically switch connection to my phone before I even play any media on my phone. If it's connected to both, and I pause my laptop media just because I need to pause it, and then I press play again, a lot of the times, the Liberty 4 NCs don't know what to do and I end up not getting any sound. I have to disconnect and reconnect to restore the audio. Anyone else have this issue?
  • BOSE QC II / ULTRA VS SONY XM5 I had the Bose QC II for 2 years and then I decided to switch to the Sony XM5. I gave them back after 2 weeks of testing because they are not comfortable as the Bose. The touch features on the Sony activate themselves when you put in the bud or adjust it (the music stops or it goes through the ANC modes). The Bose touch controls are the best I tried, flawless, incredibly reactive and you can mirror pause, change song and volume on both buds. (very helpful if you wear only one buds) The Sony sound quality is not better, I like strong bass and the Bose are slightly better at it, it's more full and precise, the mid and high range are great on both but the sony are most customizable. The Sony ANC works as good as good as the Bose except for the lover frequencies, like cars, where the Bose are better. The Sony have less white noise when there's silence, you hear a slight hiss in the Bose. (But honestly, why use ANC if you are in complete silence?) The only good point for the XM5 are the multi point connectivity, a bit more of battery life, case dimension and customisation of the app. I'll buy the Ultra today.

hey hey, try review realme buds air 5 pro, im sure it will crown as number 1 instead of liberty 4 nc
  • I just returned the Nothing (a) earbuds. Great sound but only when ANC turned on and on high and mid, on low and adaptive the quality was like the free buds on a tourist bus. Awful. And the switches on the sides feel cheap. Stay away from the Nothing ... Btw, the ANC was barely noticeable and only with a kitchen hood.
  • Don't buy Sony. Battery dies and you are left with a very expensive paper weights. The overear are exquisite. I bought both because I wanted to have the best quality and long lasting I was bamboozled with the ear buds.

What about AirPods Pro 2 USB-C or Lightning? Where do they stand?
  • @csph0316
for me the best is real me air 5 pro why Battery life 11 hours Driver unit size 11 mm Number of microphones 6 Audio latency 40 ms Bluetooth version 5.3vs5.03 Battery life of charging case 29 hours Highest frequency

Bro I had the Sony xm5 earbuds and they are garbage I’m sorry but they are quieter then one of my AirPods together, I want true loudness and good quality and for them to be a hook design not bud
  • @tilony
The bose QC 2 are better than xm5, but this is a personal choice.
