I think we can all agree, JoJo is not something to watch without context. 😭😭😭

Jokes and memes aside, JoJo is an amazing piece of art

The poker game is legitimately one of the best "fights" in the series.
  • I don't usually enjoy manly shows like this but JoJo is the reason for 80% of the tattoos on my body, this show is great.

To explain, if the stands take damage the people take damage. The guy with the sword, the sword had a stand that lived inside it so whoever weilds it falls under its control basically giving them two stands but breaking the sword only makes them pass out thus making them fall out of the swords control

If you hurt someones stand ability (the weird colored apparitions), you hurt them too, because theyre literally made from the soul of the user The sword in those scenes was a stand itself
  • It's quite hard to understand how badass these moments are without context.

see, something to bear in mind regarding this series. It doesn't scale on power level or raw strength. How it works is essentially how creative the fighter can get with his or her abilities. The poker game was essentially the enemy able to make any wager come down to the victim's soul being put on the line. The bad guy at the end could stop time, and was a vampire. There's a villain later that can turn anything he touches into a bomb. Joseph, the old guy in the last scene, in his hayday fought the vampires of vampires with a breathing technique.
  • He missed too much context because of this cut up version 💀
  • Since you were wondering why the guy in yellow could take so many punches, he is a vampire and can regenerate almost instantaneously.
  • My name is Kira Yoshikage. I am 33 years old. My house is located in the northeastern part of Morio, in the area of estates. I work in the office of the yu store chain, I return home at the latest at 8 p.m. I don't smoke, I drink, I go to bed at 11 pm and make sure that I sleep exactly 8 hours a day before going to bed, I drink warm milk, and I also spend 20 minutes warming up, so I get up in the morning without any problems. At the medical examination, they told me that there were no problems. I don't bother my head with problems in the form of victories or defeats, and I don't get enemies.

2:45 I think “ora” is like the shortened variation “hora” meaning “come on!” in Japanese

To explain what the purple ghost thing is coming out of jotaro is: it’s called a “stand “ a psychic ghost that is manifested from their users (like jotaro) only stand users can see other stand users stands and if the stand gets damaged so does the user.
  • I'll give some explanations: The first scene was a fight against a blind man with insane echolocation abilities, and who could control water. He threw the dog as a distraction so he could get close enough to attack. The second was against a sword called Anubis, which possesses anybody who picks it up. This is why breaking it made him pass out. The third scene had Anubis possess someone else, and the reason Jotaro was blocking swords with his hands is because the thing hitting them is called Star Platinum, which has superhuman strength, speed, durability, etc.
  • @Azuledraws
1:34 I’m pretty sure Star platinum was using the knuckle guard things / the little gold balls on the back of his hand to stop the sword stabs from the silver guy
