In regards to the bassline switch, he said on his monthly podcast that he had two different versions of the remix and couldn't decide which one was best, so he combined them.

i know there are lots of tutorials for kick and bass in youtube ... but would u share your knowledge with us ? how much lowend in a kick or in a bassline is too much and how much lowend is too less ?

The only thing I don't like about his remix is the main drop. Everytime I hear it I have the same feeling like that lead is just making the energy goes down. I'd stay with the groove from the 1st drop and make the 2nd drop the same way but with something made out of the vocal. Of coruse that's just me and my feelings about John's remix. Regarding your video, great job man!!

My personal opinion is that the I Remember Remix is basically a John Summit edit. I feel like it is completely the same thing minus the vibe (beats).
