    Being on the giving side of the 556 and the receiving side of the 762, both can kill and you can live after getting hit with both. ( Getting hit 13 times NOT FUN ). To me it comes down to getting good with what you have, and not worrying what the other guy has.

    I gotta roll with the AK. Like you said it’s low maintenance and not ammo sensitive, so that’s what I’m rolling with if SHTF.

    Ak47 is a great rifle and within 300 yards is accurate enough for man sized targets. BUT, with ak ammo not being standard in American homes and police departments as well as the ojt of box modularity I’d choose the AR15. 5.56 is plentiful in the US whereas ak ammo simply isn’t. That plus the fact that Ars are made to mod make it better imo, plus the fact that at distance it’s going to give you much better accuracy which is important with how many people have body armor these days

    AK in the woods with rouge bigfoots. AR for the dope heads braking in at night.

    Kalash for me, larger caliber just hits bigger. Nothing wrong with an AR so let Macaroni Toni know....no hate here.
