[PoE 3.25] It's Not a Far Shot for This Old Relic to become BiS

The confusion at the start of the video about "Far Shot" not providing "Far Shot" anymore is cleared up if you just go look at the old tree. The old Ascendancy Passive Skill was also called "Far Shot" and its description reads "Far Shot (then on the next line) Projectile Barrages have no spread". The skill used to grant the effect also named "Far Shot" but doesn't anymore but the name of the skill is still the same. The old skill did NOT explicitly say anything along the lines of "Projectile attack hits deal 20% less at the start of their movement... dealing up to 60% more..." that is the description of what the Far Shot effect does. So when ggg says "The Far Shot Ascendancy Passive Skill no longer provides "Far Shot"." They're saying the skill no longer grants that specific named effect. Still confusing to have a Ascendency Skill called "Far Shot" and a game effect called "Far Shot" but hopefully this clears it up some.

Used this helm on ts builds in the past with taking chain instead of far shot, and with kinetic blast. Insane helm. Only issue was with HH buffs, not having reduced mana cost on helm was a bit iffy sometimes, which we now get -23% attack cost from mana mastery wheel so we can use any helm we want again :D The "projectiles cannot collide" line is apparently just 2 metres limit. So as long as you're not inside of the enemy you're good. Which you wouldn't want to do with far shot + long shot + arcing shot anyway. All the shots

They should call the ascendancy node Farther Shot

Idk about banking everything on far shot with a helm like that considering our past experience with t17 rares. Especially now that we get return projectiles for free. Wouldn't you want to return said projectiles right on top of an enemy and cause it to shotgun with ele hit of the spectrum aoe component instead? That would mean that you would need to sit inside enemies, which means that helmet will eat all your damage by disallowing the collision to happen.

I was inclined to go Lightning Strike just so I dont league start bow for the third or fourth time in a row, but that just got my hyped right there. Gosh I love how the content creator fellas just eat throw the patch notes so we don't have to lol

YO Snoo amazing vid - Quick question man : I saw in the POB in the "EARLY GAME - NO CRIT" gear that you dont use 6-link but you do use "additional arrow" on the bow. isnt that really expensive at that time? am i missing something? do you craft it ?
