i watched your selection of catfish was very much labor... how about using filters or nets or sieves of the right size careful enough step by step? Maybe even have them in your pond, so the smaller ones can get through, and the bigger ones can't?

the Peahen eggs are probably fertilized, and if she is not broody(sitting on it all the time) maybe one way is to hatch them artificially, like in an incubator, and then after the chicks are more robust after a few days to introduct them to Mama...? But maybe all will go well by giving it a first true chance?
