I always liked that the two early terminator models were basically smaller versions of the tank and aircraft things we saw the robots using in the future.

I like how the general tells John and Kate that Crystal Peak is a fallout bunker without telling them it’s a fallout bunker. He, along with the Terminator, knew there’s no stopping Judgement Day, hence the lines, “It’s your only chance.”, and “I opened Pandora’s Box.”

Imagine how surprised Skynet must have been to see a fully operational T-800 blast apart its own robots.

Let’s all appreciate that despite being shot, surrounded by panic and screams, and being told that your AI is taking over and targeting humans, he manages to go right along with it, didn’t question it, didn’t skip a beat

    "I opened Pandora's box."

Shit, dying and knowing that you're partly responsible for the end of the World but at least he gave his Daughter and John a chance to survive it.
  • I loved how chaotic this movie was. There was so much happening at once. Especially in this scene: A virus was attacking the military systems and they decided to use there AI which took control of everything and at the same time, a bunch of robots are slaughtering everyone whilst two other robots from the future are busy fighting each other
  • Still love how he effortlessly rips the safe door off its hinges. Terminator power!

Say what you want for this franchises future, Arnold has been carrying it without complaining it. He's the masterpiece

I don't blame the dad for just standing there, I've seen a lot of movies where a character just stands there like a dumbass but here it's understandable, the man saw his daughter get riddled with bullets, then another daughter claiming to be his real daughter runs in and says "don't trust her!!!", he sees some big guy with guns, people are panicking and screaming, he sees his daughter get back up and turn into a supermodel, and gets shot immediately. Hell even writing this down felt convoluted! Imagine experiencing that!

This movie doesn't compare to T1 or T2 that well but the ending was genius. The T3 ending was one of the high points of the whole series.
  • I love the designs for the T-1s
You can already see how they would evolve into the massive rollers we see in Terminator 1 and 2 in the future scenes

This movie wasn't that great but still entertaining. Can't believe it came out 16 years ago. Time flies
  • @dansterstuff
2:20 I love how the t1 is scanning unaware of the actual threat because it doesn't comprehend how another robot isn't on it's side

General Brewster, Kate's dad has a lot to process in this short scene if you think about it... A cyborg pretending to be his daughter got shot a ton by another cyborg while her real daughter appears a second later, and he got shot a ton by that copycat cyborg, then the good cyborg with another unknown scrawny human kid tell him there's gonna be a nuclear apocalypse...

If Terminator had an ounce of humanity, he'd wallow in nostalgia looking out that window. "Aah, it's starting to turn out the way I remember it"
