Hello, I am in contact with Expats in Tirana, Albania and they tell me in 2024 if from the USA, we can still stay 12 months in Albania without Visa. But only 3 months for some other countries.

Am I hearing a Texas accent? The sweet spot in Albania is hit when you actually know people long term and you see their kindness, they treat you like family and feel the love. I understand you guys want to explore more countries, hope you get to visit back one day.

I heard you should not drink the water in Albania. Did you have any problems with that or any solutions?

I live in Greece, and really intend to go to Albania one of these days. I would like to know what itโ€™s like in the spring time there, Iโ€™ve heard that during the summer itโ€™s beautiful and nowhere near as touristy as Greece. Although where I live, itโ€™s not really a touristy place anyway.

Is it like Ivory Coast where they think Americans only drink coke and French fries?

Eating out is nice, but you do get to inspect the cleanliness of kitchens. That's the only drawback. One has to get food poisoning once to ruin your experience. Hope this never happens to you, but you should be aware of the possibility. ๐Ÿ˜ข
