  • What a great interview. Boy his story brought up a lot of memories of how horrible alcohol is. Praise God he is clean and see sober. Jesse you have a real calling in this you did an excellent interview.

This is a eye opening story! Thank you, Jake, for your service and your courage to share with us. I can relate completely to the question of "how much am I going to drink today?" Vs. Am I going to drink today? We Alcoholic know beyond a doubt that we will drink, and I knew I didn't have an off switch! Sorry for your loss of your father at such a prime age..because I know what it's like to not grow up learning the things and skills of life we should get from our fathers (Fixing a car, doing electrical work, framing a house, repairing a broken pipe..ect). It took me decades to let go of the things and traumas that fueled my disease.. You can do this, brother..and as the cliche goes, "One day at a time " ODAAT. Excellent video and hope for more fellows than you can imagine. Jake if there's anything that I can help with don't hesitate to let me know, we recover together. Lastly, @irishguyjg_2ndchancerecovery , keep fighting the good fight and they will come❤
  • I tried to just drink 3 beers a day and I (thought) I did really well but I ended up having a bunch of problems and started drinking heavily again I had to go 100% only by the grace and help of God. There's absolutely no way I could have done it on my own.
