I have CERTAINLY been there, getting the blessings of flying one of these! I will NEVER forget how much fun that was!

At around 3:30 he starts to explain about the front dial on the right. He says he`s not sure which it`s for. Uh oh!!

Nice video, but first things first. You must always... I mean always turn your controller on first, then the Phantom. The Phantom will look to bind with the controller the moment you turn it on. It is possible that if you do the revers, the Phantom could pick up a stray signal and interpret it as a takeoff instruction and have a flyaway situation. Happy flying!

On the right side, that is not a programmable button, that is use to take still pictures.

you should always turn on the controller before the drone as it may take off and disappear on its own.when shutting down drone first controller second
  • Nice video! but please tell them to Power on the Remote FIRST.... then the phantom..

So I recommend before trying to teach someone about the Drone you may want to know what the controller does. Just saying. Overall its a good video. Thanks for posting.

Your mobile phone is connected via a USB lead to the controller, is that normal ? I have seen the mobile connected to it via WiFi, so which is the best way ?

How far can this dron goes before it goes out of signal range. ?

the button on the right next to the back button is not a programmable button but rather a shutter release for taking still photos....the wheel below it is basically an iso / aperture combo...
