"Don't cheat for the sake of reps. No one is counting but you." A brilliant statement!

Upper body strength has always been my weakness and I’ve been thinking that I want to be strong enough to pull myself up in an emergency. That may sound like a weird reason, but I think it would be super cool and feel satisfying to know I could fully handle my own body weight and have that kind of control over it.
  • Finally a callisthenics video for beginners that isn’t just an advanced guy telling you to do these impossible moves
  • I'm 16 trying to get the best out of myself physically and mentally and this helps a lot with the first bit as I don't have any access to any sort of equipment also for anyone who's starting out like me I recommend you put these kind of videos in your own playlist to help you stay organised
  • as a physical therapist, I just want to say that you are 100% spot on here man, most YT/IG fitness people are completely useless, but you nailed this.
  • Me starting to do any exercise, Body vibrates like a Nokia. Me: this is gonna be difficult.
  • WTF, this guy is not trying to sell me something, Respect dude, new sub

30 years old and recently started taking better care of my body. In hindsight, I should've done this all in my 20's (take it as a lesson from this stranger on YouTube), but I'm not focusing on the "what-ifs" right now -- this is the best I've ever felt, and I'm going to keep going.

This is one of the best tutorials I’ve seen. Really in depth on the fundamentals that most people gloss over. Doing body weight has a lot of complications to it compared to weight lifting. Having to remember every part of a movement isn’t easy and it can be hard to break down where someone is failing.

"No one is counting your rep but you" - the best reminder to keep me in proper form.
  • Wow. I've watched half the video and I know this guy is super legit. The way he speaks. He sounds just a regular guy. Not a salesmen. It's very clearly no-bullshit from the start. Subbed and going to watch a bunch of previous videos.
