  • You are lucky and blessed that you were able to create a loving community for yourself. Some of us who also come from trauma are unable to do so despite our best efforts because of the trauma. You created a wonderful life for youself.

There's a term in the Black community called "othermothering," which mostly describes the community parenting and kinship that's built into Blackness. Today, I reframed it as "otherfathering" as I found myself grateful for the Black men in my life that have countered what my father was (and wasn't) and showed me vulnerable, reflective, and nurturing Black masculinity. It feels like your practice of keeping up with the science is in full effect! I'm so happy you're here this spring, and I will rainbow warrior stomp this Tuesday and all days forward!

My son hurt his back seriously in the Air Force. They placed a spinal cord stimulator. He had some success with it, but not much. Of course he had a different problem than you. All the positive juju coming your way that it helps you so much! We will be with you in spirit this week. Love always, my friend!❤❤❤

Happy to see you and so happy you’re doing well!! Enjoy your chosen family time! ❤❤❤ you are a special person Nicole!
  • Oh my beautiful fellow warrior So happy to see you looking and sounding so well. I had my 6 month follow up ct scan after another 6 months of chemo and immunotherapy. Oh the scanxiety is so real each and every time I wait for results. Looking forward to see you next week. Sending you all my love, positive vibes and aloha for you this week. Love, Jocelyne 😘
  • Hello you wonderful woman. You just seem to be kicking cancer's ass once again after a real rough patch filled with pain. You are such a fighter. Thanks for including smoothie ingredients. I was one of the folks that requested that. I'll have to investigate the benefits of mushroom powder. As a person for whom the 60's and 70's could be considered my "hey-day", psilocybin mushrooms could be fun!😄😁 (Ann)
  • I hope that everything works out great for you for the EMJ and the stimulator and that you’re able to restore your walking quickly and proficiently and I’m glad that you had time with your friend and celebrating them as a dad. That’s awesome. Praise God OK look forward to getting the update. Keep up the good work steps of faith and healing.

Thank you for always showing up … we need you! I know I’m so selfish but it’s the truth! 🫶🏼
  • It rained a lot today in my bit of NE Scotland. My dad died many years ago but I still remember him especially on Father's day. He had a middle ranking Govt job and never earned a huge salary, but always put us five kids first in any spending decisions. Cancelled golf club membership, very few pub visits with mates, driving old battered cars and spending time fixing them up. All to pay the bills and to give us a few treats. Your PT sessions will gradually get your leg moving strongly. Keep at it. Hugs from Scotland.
  • I truly believe you will be here next summer and beyond!! How knows, maybe you can even back on your bike at some point!! Praying that the stimulator helps!!
  • Hi beautiful Nicole ❤ I’m sending you so much love and all the luck in the world for this Tuesday and Wednesday. Take care of yourself and big hugs 🫂 ❤🙏 xxx

Again you sound wonderful honey. You are doing something right and your body is behaving. CHEERS girl. 🫂❣️ 💐
  • Years ago I went with my partner when she had her first emg for early MS. She had a series of ‘ouch’ moments rather than ‘omgosh I can’t do this’ moments✨💖✨
