Welcome to Star Wars: Empire At War RebelSim 1.1. Admiral Rooster leads the Rebel Alliance against the evil Admiral Dave of the Galactic Empire. Who will win? Find out in this season of Empire At War, but it's realistic.

Welcome to Awakening Of The Rebellion: RebelSim 1.1 Submod! This submod takes the core content from AOTR 2.9 and makes it MAXIMIZES the difficulty, making the Rebellion just a fraction of what it is in the base mod, being far more credit and population-limited for a more accurate Rebels Vs Empire experience.

Current head Canon: Commander Rooster after his glorious victory over the CIS was backstabbed by a renewal of Order 66 and saw his hated foe Commander Dave be put in charge of the Imperial Navy. Seeing what his beloved Republic had become Rooster sought out the Rebels, they saw him as an experienced and war-winning Commander and quickly put him in charge of the war effort.

27:40 The planets with the white color are independent factions so they can not move their ships to other white planets, they can also not build or rebuild anything, but be warned they can be very difficult to take depending on what randomized ships they get in orbit.

As a veteran of the AOTR mod, your standard try-hard rebel alliance should include: - Constantly spamming illegal smuggl- I MEAN ENVOYS FOR CHARITY DONATIONS TO THE CORE - Immediately retreating from inner and mid rim and selling everything worthless off (what do you mean I need to defend Hoth?) - Abusing all the hero abilities in combat and praying to god they don't die from a random tie squadron........ TALKING ABOUT YOU LUKE - Iblis's pair of free Katana dreadnought for every single space battle........ cheese for the cheese god - Week 1 Bespin and Bakura Rush (hurray to late game gravity defying destroyers!....... I meant gravity well.......... I'm drunk) - Sweaty micro raid on every undefended / weak imperial planet (laughs in owning half the core worlds with 30 minute long battles)  - Ignore space combat, space is temporary, ground income is eternal (and also turbolaser kill zones) - Admiral Akbar Home run mission rush (The wheel as the cake plus Mandalore as the cherry on top) - Tech rush and immediate Quasar spam......... MORE CHEESE FOR THE CHEESE GOD! - Invasion of Coruscant from Fresia (what do you mean forming the NR is sub optimal- wait where did my income go HOLY SHI-) - Wipe out the empire with a massive auto resolve deathstack........ yeah space stations ain't worth much in auto resolve, abuse that :) - Die from all the minor factions waking up (especially the Hutts, WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE HUTTS) Well in conclusion......... this game is intense when you play things seriously....... But hey at least the AI is always stupid! Keep up the good work!

The sides that can attack you are the Empire(green) and the Black Sun(yellow) right now; the later factions that can attack you later if they aren't attacked first or a certain amount of weeks pass are the Huts(dark Green), CSA(Blue), and the Hapes(Purple). The faction that'll never attack you are the Independent forces/Pirates(White) their faction has randomized fleets and ground forces, so attacking certain planets they own are either very good or very bad, but other than that if you don't attack them they are a good way to create a buffer from you and the enemy; as they have to attack their planets before they can attack you. Also if you ignore the Black sun for too long they'll overwhelm you in the future if they get their economy going as their forces provide a significant power boost to even take out the empire if they're ignored; and their corruption (the yellow smoke around their planets) can allow them to bypass any world regardless of the defenses with money to take out undefended planets. Hope this helps out in the later fights against the Empire.
  • Rebel campaign? Nice! Always liked seeing the underdogs struggle their way towards victory.

Hoth is a very defendable map (unless the mod changed the map) so it should be able to hold relativly well with few ressources. Also Y-Wings are King.
  • I am so glad that I get to be here for the start of this season. And I have technically finished watching last season. But yeah, you got me into this game again despite me not being good at it and I appreciate your work.

39:00 A thing to note about EAW save files. You don't have to type in the save file "Empire At War, but it's realistic" everytime, you could just click on an existing savefile and in the bar at the bottom that displays the savefile you've selected, remove for example the '2' and replace it with a '3'. This would create a new savefile named "Empire At War, but it's realistic 3" while still keeping the 'Empire At War, but it's realistic 2' savefile. Notably, this means that you get a ton of savefiles if you keep doing this everytime you need to save but you could easily do for example one savefile for every episode or so (which likely will end up with you have easily over 30-40 savefiles, though you can always delete older ones...as there is after all a limit to how many savefiles you can have, which tbf is also displayed ingame- which makes it a good idea to at least occassionally clear out old-ish savefiles, even older ones from an ongoing campaign). Now, This method i have is likely not the most efficient and probably shouldn't be used at a large scale for any PC no better than a potato... but it works for me, and my PC which is probably just a tiny bit better than what a potato can handle, so i believe truthfully that it could work for you aswell even if only utilized at a smaller scale, Rooster.

Suggestion: Check the income of CSA planets (The blue ones to your north) to send envoys to. A few of them have mining capability and could be a pretty substantial income source. Added benefit, at least as far as i remember, the subfactions don't have the ability to remove your envoys so they can give you pretty stable income
  • @SideQuest-TV
Quick tip(s), the income you see on for example coruscant isnt what it actually is, its just the base income without any mining facilities or structure upkeep, to know the actual income of a planet you can send the envoy on top of the planet which will reveal their income and after you can decide wether to steal or not, for my campaign some planets reached an income of 2000 while others went into the negative, but generally planets like the wheel, kessel, coriscant, argau, ord ibana and bespin are good to steal from.
  • Woooooooo! Let’s go🎉. We are here for season 2! It’s not even been that long. I can’t wait, this is going to be awesome. Love your content.❤
  • @Dadum-bass
Biggest desire for a EAW mod. . . The ability to send ships back into hyperspace/reserve, keeping all incured damage, but being able to hop around a map
  • Obviously you know AOTR is different than Republic at war. Try and build fleets primarily with fighters. Since it’s realistic tech 3 star fighter and tech 3 medium are important. Build a mini buffer zone around Mon Cala and Yavin. Also take a hero to bespin and plan on holding it on the ground since it looks like you probably won’t be able to hold it. I would consider using actually squads rather than stealth units since your can just use stealth for the squad variants of the infantry. I’m telling you for your space fleet having less than 15 xwings and 10 y wings or even less than 6 corvettes could screw you if you don’t have a fleet good enough to take out the empires smaller ships like Carraks lancers and most importantly strike cruisers which are absolutely the worse to face when fighting the empire.
  • @user-uo5ew7rg5h
I thought i was having an aneurysm when I first saw the map at the beginning of the video, because I just hopped off of AOTR and it didn't look like this. Then he said submod, lmao
  • The white planets are nutral worlds meaning they camt attack you nor will they join the other factions look at it as planets who refused the empire and have their own small sector forces
  • @-Raylight
You know a game is a timeless masterpiece when so many years after release, they still get mods and people still play them xD
  • @basedgod2817
hey! i have actually played this mod before, a few tips for ya, 1. the white faction is independent forces, there is no downside to taking them. i would go and take all of the ones near mon cala and hoth ASAP. 2. take out the CSA early, they are all great economic planets and will be your early economic backbone. 3. in the south, go for bakura, there you can build bakuran destroyers to give you some early game capital ships with a bit of firepower. good luck!
