Talking about trooper armour, I always wrote it off as useless but in hindsight the fact that it protects from secondry dangers like gases, temperature, ect alone is reason enough to wear it. Even completely discounting it as protection vs guns, it's still functionally a spacesuit. For an army designed to fight on many diffrent worlds, that's kind of mandatory.

You know, the blasteel shoulder pieces of the clone armor made me think of something. If you go back and watch season one of the clone wars, you can see the clones putting there shoulder into a blaster bolt fire during combat. Just a neat little detail I realized

29:00 uhhhhh i thought the language on his helmet translated to “some guys have all the luck” i think the one with the “only good droid is a dead droid” Tattoo was the 501st Medic Kix who had it on his Head not helmet.
