The purpose of this video is to show that Bipolar evolves and develops over time rather than just BAM 100% fully manifesting one day. šŸ’–āš”ļø TRY ONLINE THERAPY šŸ’–āš”ļøtryonlinetherapy.com/lizziesanswers (1-week is free! I recommend this company, they're amazing!!)

If your Psychiatrist or Therapist is being super legalistic about the DSM criteria, find a new doctor! If you are self reflective you can be aware of all of this happening and treat it immediately and prevent all the mood phases from getting worse.

I've made a dozen other videos about Bipolar Disorder! HERE IS THE PLAYLIST to all those videos: Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā BIPOLARĀ DISORDERĀ ANDĀ DEPRESSIONĀ Ā

The actual signs of Bipolar Depression start at 4:07 (if you want to skip the whole intro) šŸ‘

  • She's manic. That's why she's talking to fast she could be in an episode since, she's rapidly talking an ranting, I've have rapid bipolar disorder I've had it since I was 8 I'm 22. yes these can all be signs but not every bipolar experiences exactly the same symptoms.
  • This was amazing!! Please keep making these types of videos to help people be more aware and understand it. It can be very confusing and hard to navigate.

My dad was finally diagnosed with Bipolar Type I at 37 years old. He lost visitation of my sister and I and drank himself to death a year later. I miss his creativity and passion to build things. He was so special, yet so sick. He feared death, but I think he just didn't care anymore. He's been gone for 11 years and it doesn't get easier. He will never meet his grandchildren or walk me down the aisle at my wedding. The pain I feel is immeasurable. The guilt I feel haunts me every second. I wish I could have done more to save him.

It seems like EVERYONE in the comments has bipolar disorder.
  • Thank you so much for this. I've been feeling like I might have this. Literally every symptom you've listed is prevalent in my life and has been for over a decade. This was the best video. Thanks again!

Amazing video, loved the titles and the structure and itā€™s so so helpful. Really really helpful to hear. Iā€™ve had years of therapy and seen different psychiatrists and Iā€™m still trying to put the pieces together. Iā€™ve been told Iā€™ve got severe depression, might be autistic, might have bipolar disorder by health/psych professionals. Hearing experiences like this, for me, is the most helpful in figuring stuff out. Without people like you being open and generous and honest in sharing your experience I would still be very very sick and confused. So THANK YOU to you and everyone who is so caring in telling their story. šŸ’•šŸ’•šŸ’•šŸ‘šŸ¼

Thanks for being so brave and sharing all of this info. It helped me a lot, now I'm pretty sure I have bipolar, not unipolar depression I was diagnosed with in the past. I've been tracking this and researching for a long time and you give some info I haven't read/heard about before!

Thank you so much for this. My mother suffers from bipolar disorder, and society has stigmatized it in such a way that it feels like a crime to openly discuss it. She doesn't like to talk about it, but growing up in it's shadow I've been able to observe it almost every day of my life. She has what I like to call "high days" and "low days", but the high days are literally days, and the low days can last weeks. She only ever has a truly manic episode when she's severely stressed.

I think I may finally have an understanding of what I have been going through and for years now!!!! Thanks to you. I have just gone through a really bad episode and am now looking for mental health help. I know I have needed it in the past but didnā€™t get the right diagnosis or meds and now I know and I feel prepared to go in to the psychologist appointment I have coming up. Thank you tons for your insight with your experiences. You are godsend for being open and so intellectually informing us with all your experiences. Bless you girl!!!!!
