  • So the creepy, controlling Dad is bothered by the dress that shows her throat, but he is not at all bothered that she is pledging her life to someone at the age of 17.
  • The first family, the father focusing on her hip span, her breasts and her waist is beyond inappropriate. What a disgusting creep. Shes inly 17 also. Its beyond disgusting

The first dad and the groom should definitely be on the watch list
  • @marykelly9698
These cult parents that groom young girls to marry should be jailed ,

Everybody not picking up on the fact that dad said he picked the 17 year olds husband ! She definitely grew up in a independent Baptist like environment like the duggers he is picking her husband and treating her like an infant! Kara needs a wellness check and that Father should be on a watchlist!

Don’t click bait 🙄 17 is still too young but not 16 & her fiancé not 63.

This dad is WEIRD! He treats her like an infant….covering her from head to toe…..while giving her away as a child….Mixed up thinking!

You don’t hesitate to allow your teen daughter to marry and yet every dress has a “bothersome” feature to creepy Dad.
  • Dads being strict in his daughter’s love life is gross and creepy. I don’t care who comes after me for this, but he has no right and it’s just gross. This includes the dress she’s going to wear, because her body is NOT his property, and that’s how he’s acting. It’s gross. Esp having her get married so young.

I got married at 19 because my mother did. Now at 62, I realize that I kind of railroaded my boyfirend into it. 31 miserable years later, we finally divorced. I have 5 wonderful children and 6 grandchildren which makes the misery worthwhile to me, but I regret the pain they knew growing up. I tell every girl now not to get married before they are educated, have a way to support themselves, have figured out who they are when they are alone. And divorce is worth considering when you are living in an abusive situation.

I got married at 18..worst mistake of my life ( except for my 2 beautiful children)
  • So that first girl was considered old enough to marry, have sex and pop out a couple of babies..... But not old enough to choose her own clothing? WHERE IS THE LOGIC I BEG OF YOU?! O.o And the dresses she did prefer were very tasteful and still pretty damn conservative...

Dads having so much to say about their daughter’s body is creepy AF! And no 17yr old should be getting married unless she’s got a very short life ahead due to a terminal illness. Way too young. Mind you you couldn’t have made me understand that when I was 17 if I’d wanted to get married
  • «Interesting…” is such a polite way to say, “oh, you are bat shit crazy”
  • Really bothers me when these young girls say they need a dress to make them feel grown up. It doesn’t get anymore grown up than committing to marriage. Marriage is hard enough , these girls act like kids!! This looks a serious stuff no wonder divorce is so high.

The first girl.....poor thing. I grew up on a cult too! You can run !!!! Run fast!
