  • The number one thing I miss everytime I open a bundle is the book that had the cards in the set in them. I REALLY wish Wizards would bring those back
  • @Boojkill
I saw these at my local Target for $85. I was getting ready to pick one up but then I noticed that one of the side flaps was opened, so I brought it to customer service to bring it to their attention. I offered to buy it if there was nothing missing from it and they allowed me to check it in front of them. Nothing was missing and they let me buy it at a 15% discount, so I actually got it for slightly less than MSRP. :)

Love how prof pulls like $200 from his compleat pack
  • @lackoffaithh
Because of how valueless common and uncommon foils are and how universally useful basics are I'm actually really happy with getting 2 mythics and 10 basics in the compleat booster
  • @sulfitedragon
I'm kind of annoyed they don't give you a phyrexian spin-down dice in the Compleat edition.
  • @pigfish99
The fact you're at least guaranteed 2 mythics in the compleat bundle is IMO, like a pity system from a gacha game: even if all of your boosters contain the worst jank possible, you're still getting something cool out of it. Also, love that you get full art foil lands as well.

I really like the abundance of basics in the complete edition. Basics are always usefull and it can be quite expansive if you want your commander deck to have matching alternate art basic lands. I rather get the garantued basics with cool art style then some random common or uncommon jank that I will never use.
  • Loved the oil slick artwork. I picked one up for $79.98 from Walmart. Should arrive tomorrow, we will see if it was worth it!
  • @Omega_Orion
Pretty happy I got to preorder my Compleat bundle as a birthday gift to myself when it was at 80, and I'm glad you shouted out that it is a gift bundle. I really just love unique basics so those oil slicks were really what I'm after, and everything else is an absolute bonus :D
  • Honestly, those oil slick lands are my favourite land art. They're...beautiful. Very close to the unfinity lands for me.
  • The compete edition booster getting a fair shake at $30 makes it more interesting than any secret lair
  • @psbelljr
Bundles are simply one of the best casual products MTG has. Gift bundles especially. I always try to get at least one per set.
  • @angrywado
It was actually the set of full art and oil slick lands that made me want to get the Compleat Bundle. Sets boosters, a couple mythics, and then a solid quantity of the styled lands from the set. Totally worth the preorder and looking forward to picking mine up. Very much hoping the inclusion of full art lands becomes the norm for the premium bundles going forward. Would have loved this in the Brother's War gift bundle.
  • "Once the phyrexians got their capitalist claws on them" Ironically the final forme of the bundle (no more fold out art, compact pull tab packaging) began in Kamigawa, the ramping of the Phyrexia Arc. (Yes yes Kaldheim was a teaser)
  • @XiLock_Alotx
Over the years, I have really come to appreciate these videos. As always, thank you very much my friend! GLHF!
  • Miss the old ones with a book, and a pamplet of a visual checklist of the set with little tid bits about the main people, those were the days~!!
  • @TKOHalfBlood
I bought a Compleat edition at $80 and am so excited for it to arrive!! I'm honestly happy that I found it at market value!
  • I wanted to say I just got my deck box in, and it is the most amazing thing I have ever saying. Thank you so very much I'm going to cherish this forever and if it lasts long enough I'm going to pass this down to my children. I can't thank you enough and I hope that you are able do sell more and design more in the years to come
  • Thank you for the review. I'm hoping to find some around that 90 mark since I just love the phyrexian oil treatment and want the lands for a deck. Like you said, they're basics, but I love the style they bring
