    सिंजा खस राज्य बाट बिस्तार भएको खस भाषा नै नेपाली भाषा हो, डोटेली भाषा खस भाषाकै जन्मदाता हो जुन नेपालको रुकुम पश्चिम देखी सुरु भएर भारतको कुमाउॅ,गडवाल,हिमाचल देखी कश्मिरका केहि जिल्लामा समेत बोलिन्छ जुन पुरै नेपालको भु-भाग भन्दा केही ठुलो क्षेत्र हो। यति मात्रै नभएर क्षेत्रीहरुरुको आफ्नै पोशाक र चाडपर्ब पनि रहेका छन। तर बाहुनहरुको भने आफ्नो भाषा हुदैन।

    मगर भाषा तिन प्रकारका छन्: १) मगर ढुट २) मगर खाम ३)मगर काइके इत्यादि। मगरहरूको मुख्य पर्व नाच हरु जस्तै: भुमे नाच,पैसेरु नाच, कौरा नाच, माघे नाच, सोरठी नाच , झाक्री नाच इत्यादि अझै बढी छन्। केही नाचहरु छुटेका छन्।

    In Nepal most Hindu thinks Lama and Tamang are different tribes, but they are the same at least 25% Tamang people address their caste as Lama. I hope when the Government population census counts it should be the same Tamang and Lama.
