With regard to the VIPs in squid game, I read somewhere on a YouTube video or on Twitter that they're supposed to be an ironical representation of Americans because when most American shows feature Asians, they're given stereotypical roles and this was a vice versa sort of thing? Also, I think certain things in the drama were lost in translation too. This is just extra information but the game red light, green light (mugunghwa kocci pieotseumnida) translates to "the rose of sharon has bloomed" which is significant since the national flower of South Korea is the hibiscus flower/ rose of sharon.

aw i would love to see jenna!! i have a 3 year old foxhound and when my family and i first adopted her she also had separation anxiety, but the way we got her to stop crying when we left (her howling was so loud the neighbors could hear) was we bought a camera that connected to a phone app and put in the living room. so whenever we went out for a bit and she started howling we could just speak into the mic on the app and reassure her that we would be back soon

As someone that watch a lot of K-Drama’s. I can say that if there is some English speaking characters in the show or movie you know they gonna be bad at acting. So when I saw the V.I.P’s I just new they will bring it down. Also your totally right about k-drama’s being a bit more mature the characters are mostly in their thirties and sometimes late twenties

You really hit the nail on vip's taking away the whole "darkness" and ruining it by a lot. I also wanted some moral ambiguity behind Il Nahm's reason to make the games, something more than "i was bored" at least.

I don’t watch any of the really popular shows on streaming platforms because I don’t find them to ever be as good as what “media” is saying. And when I say “media” I mean what I read and see online, not just news outlets. Also I used to write on Wattpad and knew about “After” because I was on there when the author of the series first began uploading. I like hearing about these shows/movies because I know I’ll never take the time to watch them so I appreciate these podcasts because you’re going over what worked and what didn’t for you

I would actually love an awnser to a question I have which is: how to deal with someone the same age as you, who was your tutor but now isn't, who has been pestering to meet up with you/have a friendship? Is that a line anyone should cross?

Im copypasting my comment about Alex's animation (he was talking about it in the austin and ally video) on this channel so he might actually see it. Alex, it's okay if your animation isn't animation and it's animatic. I recommend watching Quinn Curio's video about the animation community critics, but basically- we as your audience don't care if your videos are high art. We just want to be entertained and get as many videos as we can without making you lose your mind. How many frames you draw per second is up to you, and it won't change our viewer experience that much since your animatics/animations are already pretty good as they are. Goodluck with whatever you're working on next and the animation style you were talking about trying out!

I disagree on the cop guy meaning nothing. Maybe to Gi-hun, but he's the reason we get to see the inner workings of the game staff and that gives us more perspective.
