Ok, so after reading through the comments, I see a lot of you guys want more HOME IMPROVEMENT videos. I have decided to post future home improvement videos on ChrisFish since ChrisFix is mostly subscribed to for cars and I dont want to make anyone mad.
  • @Fisheee123
I understand he's a car channel, but this guy can make some seriously killer tutorials for anything. Love it

I literally feel so confident that I'm on my way to Lowe's. Thank you, sir. I know this is way later than when you posted it. Your content still has value. My sink handle just broke 15 minutes ago. Other videos went too fast and spoke as if everyone spoke fluent plumber. I'm a nurse. The parts I speak are organs. I really appreciate you. Yes, your voice will guide me through this process. Ok, let me go to the store before it gets too dark. THANK YOUUUU!! 🙏🏾
  • Now THIS is what I was looking for! An ACTUAL tutorial, not just somebody showing off in a 2-minute video. This was actually HELPFUL, while not wasting my time. THANK YOU, Chris! ❤️

I like that even if Chris is joking around, he still care to learn us something new and useful
  • @willytexas
Even as an April's fools joke, this guy can really break down a task in clear steps, he (ChrisFix) is a natural at this and can only wish he could teach this skill to most school teachers, so our educational system would jump to the top.

Quick tip with changing sinks: the hardest part is usually having enough room under the sink in tight locations to fit a wrench so they make a dedicated tool called a Basin Wrench that is entirely vertical so it is easy to loosen and tighten hard to reach bolts.

Thank you for teaching this nearly 40-year-old lady who isn't very handy how to do this. Took much longer than expected to get the old fixtures off, and took some major improvising to get the super stubborn old mounting nuts off, but I'm now the happy owner of a brand new faucet and drain pipe thanks to you!

Everyone who makes DIY videos needs to learn from ChrisFix. Clear instructions, to the point, and great editing.
  • @Broken_ASF
I know he usually does an April fools thing every year but he actually explained how to do this so well lol
  • @uku000
No matter what tutorial he makes, he always makes it simple and more informative, which I really love it
  • I have to agree with the comments that came before mine. This is one of the BEST videos on how to change a bathroom faucet. Excellent step by step directions. You just saved me from getting ripped off by a handyman who wanted to charge a licensed pulmbers prices. Again excellent video!!!!!! Thank you.
  • @Hexagonaldonut
Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting this year's April Fools video to literally just be a solid tutorial, where the only thing that's unusual is the subject matter being different from the usual car repairs. Genuinely, I wouldn't mind more of this!

As a plumber, I was super impressed. Everything was explained clearly, and install was almost perfect. However, the gasket for the drain is installed backwards. It's shaped so that the smaller side actually pulls up into the sink hole slightly. Overall a decent install, and no leaks speaks for itself.
  • Love to see you doing vids like this. As someone who works as a plumber, this is almost exactly how it would be done professionally. A few things for next time, the gasket on the pop-up drain has the beveled edge facing the sink so it seals, and it would be a good idea to hold the cut off valves while replacing the supply lines so you don't risk breaking a water line. This isn't right or wrong, but I like to take the drainage out first, then do everything else, and re-install the drain last. It gives you more room in the cabinet. All in all great video keep up the good work. I would 100% recommend to someone

I was able to replace my old corroded faucet to a shiny new one. I have minimal understanding of plumbing. I watched this video a few times but when I really paid attention I was able to do all the steps easily without needing to watch again. I am so proud of myself 😭 Thank you Chris!
  • @v-raze1823
I literally just bought a new faucet last week and have been waiting to install it till I get home from a work trip. Thanks Chris, your timing is weirdly perfect as always!
  • @ReksratYTB
I love that even though this was meant as an April fool's joke he actually made an informative and high quality video. I'd be so down to see more home improvement videos like this in the future.
  • @jeffbaily8247
Young man, thank you from an old man. You are very thoughtful about thoroughly explaining each and every step and how things go back together (in case I forget). Well done - you will do well by yourself as well as everyone you educate along the way. Keep on truckin’ Chris Fish!😎👍✌️ jeff
  • No way!!!! I love your car repair videos!!!! I'm so glad you have a video for this. I'm replacing my wife's bathroom faucet and sink this week!
