  • Static Shock was legit one of the best shows on KidsWB back in the day.
  • @sarahtelles1931
PBS is still showing Arthur reruns. Also that character wouldn't even be principal if they didn't have to have Principal Haney move to another job because the voice actor didn't make it.
  • @sarahtelles1931
Uncle Phil used to be the voice of the 80s, I think, Shredder in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon
  • @wickedteegaming
That moment when Will's dad ran out on him again, that was crushing! And I loved Steven's Universe, Static Shock and Arthur!!
  • Static could easily be DC's version of Spider Man, but they haven't pushed him enough
  • @kindredXrepair
When I was young I remember when the Steven universe anti-racism thing first came up on my TV I was like "okay.... Where's my cartoon?" And gave zero shits
  • @GKXPress
You know why Static shock was so good? Its because it was not only fun, action packed, and just a good show, it was relatable to everyone of every race. It didn't divide or discriminate.
  • The milk is because of the US government buying milk to prevent supply and demand original to now we the people have to buy the milk. Wendigoon channel talks about it in his Cheese tunnel video.
  • I do say, why many "anti-racism" messaging is being rejected, is because the message is too in your face, at times it has nothing to do with the story, but the most obvious is because the show is telling you what you most think and not allow you to process and acknowledge the message, and at times they just take it way to seriously and exaggerated to such a degree that it honestly feels more like a parody rather than a positive messagem. Not to mention most feel extremely fake and forced, like the Steven Universe messages, in which the characters just break the 4th wall and start to lecturing the audience which becomes annoying. I also do hate mother messaging in shows because most of them do not come from a genuine place, and they really feel spiteful and just hateful. Like the ones in Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, the most infamous being the colorism episode in which all the girls act racist towards their one white friend, just because a new kid (which is a famous black celebrity) in school comes in and gets interested in her. Out of jealousy they go out of their way to be racist and hateful as possible. Or of course the BLM episode which say what you want but when you have a character say "Use your white privilege" to their partner, and start using references from a really racists book like "White Fragility" you know this people behind episodes like this are the real racists. Either way themes like this were touched with a heavy heart, seriousness, and tried their best to let the audience digest the message themselves. In all honesty it was what helped people to feel more tolerant, and have no problem with representation in cartoons and series. Its a shame modern day cartoons are not like that, instead being all in your face, telling you how to act and feel about certain issues, and like I said all at the coat of the story, which only makes more intolerant folk which with time will overreact to everything... Sadly this is what we are seeing now days.

Before puberty, I started drinking a quart of milk eith every meal, then told a friend to drink lots of milk with every meal, and it made both of us 6 foot plus [I'm 6'4 rn] even though the rest of our family is on the shorter end

6:19 Don't disrespect the show bro. That show showed a lot. Our community in our world that a lot of shit was happening even though we was living our lives, especially the children watching cartoons. But even the cartoons started showing the reality. Oh, things happening in the real world. And also, try to teach a lesson to not be afraid or try to avoid it all the time. Face it come forth with it confronted, because, in reality the world is a tough place to deal with. If you don't face the tough things and your fears, you will get chewed up in this place. No matter what.

The father put on a glove when he shock the dudes hand I might be tripping but when hr had his hand on his son shoulder you can see his hand but then he has a glove when he shakes the other guys hand
  • @kevinkearney902
Mikey and Aaron, although you probably wont see this "big milk" is a thing lol, its why it was pushed during our shows as kids, the got milk ads etc. Some other YouTubers break it down with actual documents and stuff. Ironically its all because of prohibition making ice cream the new social gathering thing. The Fat electrician does a awesome job
