NEW Vegan Menu Items at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Published 2023-10-14
Disney's Animal Kingdom added a handful of new options at different spots around the park, including new vegan plant-based options. Harambe Market and Kusifiri Coffee Shop, along with Flame Tree BBQ and Pizzafari along with a new Dole Whip options too. I got a little silly toward the end because this video was just full of background noise and a LOT of food :P

*Also the thing I forgot when I was eating the sausage was that it literally tastes like what I make at home for cookouts cause I use hot dog buns. Not super exciting but there you go. :D Thanks for watching! AND - it was Simba Sunset and King's Cooler for the previous Dole Whip floats - my bad! :P

For our full review and complete item list, we'll update this caption with our blog post so check back!

Thanks for all you do! You always go to great lengths to check on modifications and items that aren’t labeled as vegan. Much appreciated! I am excited to try the salad at Harambe Market. I love African flavors too.

I wish Disney would stop relying so much on Impossible meat. I like it but it's really our only option most of the time. And honestly I don't know anyone who likes cilantro but chefs love to use it ☹

Everything looks like a pretty solid option. The kafta looks sooo good. Definitely agree with the rice bowl. Hopefully they listen! Thanks so much for this review, always love watching and appreciate your efforts

Thank you soo much for reviewing these all in one go, I've been so curious. I never got to try the potato pie but I am sure gonna miss those empanadas. Glad we got a tasty replacement. Great video, always a huge pleasure to see you eat and chat.
  • We're sad about the empanadas too but at least we're keeping those flavors. Comparing the burnt ends to 4Rivers is probably as close as you're going to get. Very nice! 4Rivers for us is a little saucier.
  • Hopefully, they take your advice about adding the chickpeas to the rice bowl. That would be amazing. Excellent review! Thank you!

I like that there’s more veg options, but I wish we’d see less impossible stuff lol

Bring back the sweet potato empanadas! They were legit the best snack on property...I always ask at Kusafiri's if they're coming back (hoping to be the squeaky wheel!). Not a big Impossible fan but the Pizzafari sausage is alright (yes, it's the same as Pizza Rizzo).

My daughter is allergic to Impossible meat so I have to stick to the items that don’t have it in there.

The problem with Disney vegan food is that so much of it is junk - oils, chemicals, etc.
