New-build GWR Grange 6880 'Betton Grange' stars at the GWSR Cotswold Festival of Steam 2024! 25/5/24

Today's video focuses on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway's annual 'Cotswold Festival of Steam' event which this year featured a great gathering of GWR 4-6-0s and new build locomotives!
Visitors included:
- New build GWR Grange Class 4-6-0 6880 Betton Grange
- GWR Mogul Class 2-6-0 9351 (a new build of sorts, modified by the WSR from prairie 5193)
- New build GWR Saint Class 4-6-0 2999 Lady of Legend
From the home fleet:
- GWR Manor Class 4-6-0 7820 Dinmore Manor
- GWR Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 7903 Foremarke Hall
- Newly overhauled GWR 28xx 2-8-0 2807
- SR Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 35006 Peninsular & Oriental SN Co.
With quite the lineup in store, and a fantastic weather forecast, it was bound to be a great day! It was also a very exciting prospect to see 6880 on its first ever revenue earning passenger service at Hayles Abbey Halt. Locations were all reached by bike!
