My whole life I've heard about the media/hollywood/whatever and their unrealistic beauty standards and now it's like "screw it we're just going to have models that aren't even real but look real".
  • @Ravenomics
Of all the jobs that AI is taking away, influencers is one I am not sorry about.
  • @mybloodyvacuum
The whole idea of influencers is so stupid, and this one is even dumber. Like you are not even simping for a real person at this point, this is literally cyberpunk dystopia in real life.

To be honest, I'm totally fine with AI generated influencers. It's not like I believe they "have been" actually using whatever they are advertising either way. It's just a pretty face to look at. I enjoy video games, anime or paitings, no difference here in principle. It would be nice if it would be disclosed, but from other hand it's not like re-touched photos are marked as such ether, or a real influencer with heavy makeup is disclaiming that it's not looking same on "day-to-day" - lol

They got me, too… I first thought I’d be immune, but the moment the furry chatbots started appearing, I got curious, and now, the void has got me, for good.
  • It is poetic that the people that follow her thinking she is real is being fed this persona from a company called The Clueless.

Kinda love that even the advertisers themselves aren't pretending that moving to AI influencers is anything but dystopian. No need to pay people fairly for their time, worry about them being honest and/or going off-script, or risk any weak points in the product being pointed out at all. Everyone (and by everyone we mean our company, exclusively) wins!

Everyone needs to be EXTREMELY skeptical about "AI influencers" being popular and generating profit. Every time I hear this story it just reeks of the same kind of shady shit where NFT owners were wash trading just to say their NFT got bought for $10 million.

As if a century's worth of advertising and entertainment hadn't already created unrealistic beauty standards now we have to deal with AI.
  • @WellBattle6
This is all going to collapse as soon as people start creating lookalikes of the AI models and then post NSFW images of them.
  • @HeyMyNameIs...
This AI thing will start accelerate the discussion surrounding 4 day work weeks and UBI.
  • @FunBotan
Maybe that's for the better. Maybe our children will not have to suffer through comparing themselves to influencers because their default setting will be to assume it's fake anyway.
  • @krise99391
Honestly, i follow one, but i'm trying to figure out if it's actual "AI" or if it's just an ai filter that they use on top of a real woman/model to make it look better and give them fancy hair. Then use the "AI powered" thing as way to look more unique
  • @livipup
I think a problem with the AI influencer is that she looks weirdly familiar. Like, if you took a real specific person and then gave her pink hair. I can't say who I'm thinking of because the name isn't coming to me, but it makes me wonder if there's a case to argue about the company running that Instagram page misappropriating somebody's image.
  • @The-Caged-King
There’s an app called sakura that just has a bunch of ai characters and chatbots, nsfw is fully allowed, (which is probably why it’s so popular) Things like that I see no issue with
  • @BrendanP
Dude, there's so many Instgram accounts that look like models posing, and you got all these middle-aged dudes hitting on them. This is getting ridiculous 😂🤦‍♂️
  • @gyro121
Thats basically just a mascot with extra steps
  • @blenderpanzi
"Can Europe do something not cool?" Look up "chat control". They want to break end to end encryption.
  • @tzuyd
"I find the term NPC to be extremely disrespectful" Well, duh. That's its entire point.
