It's pretty sad when you have to learn this from YouTube. Thank you for your time and knowledge.
  • Hello, Dr.Tarnay, I am Maria Rodriguez you were my Doctor 23 years ago in Olive View Hospital in Sylmar, California. At the time, I delivered a premature baby and I hope you remember that I named my son in honor of you, Mark Chris, and I always pray for you and may God bless you every single day of your life. You are the best Doctor in the whole world and thank you for everything you did, for visiting my baby every day at the NICU and all you did for me at UCLA when he was transferred there. Your video is very helpful. Thank you so much again and God bless you!
  • Thank you! As a stroke survivor & a 73 yr old, I’ve suffered from this for many years. It’s embarrassing & frustrating.
  • This is an outstanding teaching video. The presenter speaks clearly and simply. He has an accepting, understanding and patient way. The information is amazing. It's wonderful to know that there are so many options that don't include bath towels between your legs. Thank you Doctor. I know many people who would benefit from this information. Bless you.
  • I used to have leaky bladder and I wore pads, but I came across the solution by accident. I was having other health issues and decided to change my diet to an antiinflammatory unprocessed wholefood diet. Guess what happened? Besides healing so many other issues, my leaky bladder totally went away. I was so surprised! I eat fruits, veggies, seeds and smaller lean clean meats. No dairy and no gluten. I kept a food diary to figure out my personal food intolerances and got them out. I believe that the root cause of so much of this is from inflammation and diet is huge.

As a retired R.N. I really appreciate Dr. Tarney’s presentation. There was a lot of new info to me, having graduated in 1960, and I now feel like I can speak to a Uro gynecologist about my particular problem and hopefully get a positive solution.
  • Thank you!! My bladder controls my life at this point. I'm 66. I cheerled, jumped around, carried 4 babies. Not a leak ever!! Cough, laugh, you name it. I kept in excellent condition throughout my life. Suddenly 4 months ago...I mean flooding. No leak, no forewarning. I had accepted it was normal because of my age. This video gave me hope, options! Thanks. Also excellent speaking voice, in simple terms. Thank you so much for this valuable information. Well...got to go!! AGAIN!!

OUTSTANDING video! I grew up in a nursing home while my mother worked there. Then went to school and spent a little over 20 years working in it myself. I wasn't medically nieve until this point😬🙄. As a child, I had a few traumas leading up to about 10 years old, and I needed surgery. I'm unsure what was done, but I had terrible spasms and was unable to urinate. I believe it had something to do with the sphincter. I'm 57 years old right now. I still have difficulty with leakage and full-on urination when I laugh too hard, cough, and the big one, making love with my husband. It's gotten SO much worse. I'm humbled by this video and grateful for the ideas to bring up to my doctor. Thank you so so much!

I wet the bed as a kid and have always had a weak bladder, so now, after 3 pregnancies and being 61 I give thanks daily to the invention of incontinence pads! I also rate places on their toilets....I could write a guide about where to find easy access to toilets anywhere!

Thank-you for this very watchable and informative presentation. I am an RN, and I just had to commend Dr. Tarnay on this presentation. It was patient-friendly, explained the problem, and provided options to think about before seeing your own healthcare provider. Honestly, I don’t believe the information I received in school on this subject was this informative ( partly explains part why many general practitioners fail to address the problem ). Kudos to Dr. Tarnay.
  • So glad I came across this, I didn't know that other people had this problem, I have never been pregnant, and thought it was only ladies who had given birth who suffered from bladder leakage, It's like someone has lifted a weight off my shoulders. Thank you so much for this information

I been dealing with inconstance since I was a child and was always too embarrassed to say anything, even to my doctor. So now in my 30s im finally learning more and doing something about it. Im tired of living with this secret. It's affecting my everyday life. I can't enjoy life the way normal people do. Laughing so hard that I can't breathe without an accident. Or even sneezing. I'm taking my life back
  • Thank you for all of the detailed information. So nice that a doctor spoke in layman's terms and was so patient.
  • I wish all physicians were as thorough helpful and and respectful as you expected thank you 😊
  • Thankyou so much, I started some pelvic exercises that made a huge difference to me. Before I did them my bladder leakage had become very severe and I had to wear black all the time in case of accidents. So glad I watched this I will definetly keep exercising.
  • This is probably the absolute BEST, most comprehensive information I have been given. Thank you
  • I have discovered something really strange. You know when you have to pee and it's almost your brain tells you too late and you sit on a chair or couch you hold it in and you can't get up because the water would run out of you if you stand up or try to walk to the bathroom? (If that wasn't the longest question ever) What you can do is drink water right in the moment of the urge. Wait a couple of seconds and the urge is gone. And you can walk to the bathroom without an accident. That is so paradox, it doesn't make sense, but it works all the time.

Do not go the artificial mesh route. It hardens/contracts overtime as it binds into your tissue, can come apart, cause pain and is almost impossible to remove the imbedded pieces it leaves. . My opinion based on an in depth documentary and women’s comments who’ve gone through this.

Thank you Dr Tarnay for this very organized and educational presentation to help so many of us plagued by bladder leakage. You present in such a personable, relaxed manner and made the material understandable. The graphics were very helpful as well.

Thank you, Dr. Tarnay, for this valuable information! I am a 62 year-old female and I have urinary incontinence. Your video magically appeared in my YouTube feed, so I must have subconsciously willed it to happen. You have great video bedside manners and your delivery of information is very calming. 🙏🏽
