This first demo one hundred percent needs to be released, please.
-
You can tell Matty’s head works overtime, all the time
-
This demo version for "It's About Time" is absolutely insane. I'm in agreement with Matty about needing to release it. Even with just having the intro, a verse, and a chorus (?) with a transition into the incomplete second verse, I'd take it. I'd have it on repeat for days. It boggles my mind to see how Matty is so creative in a chaotic fashion but within that, he has that vision of where the finished product will be. I've watched the other interview Tape Notes did with him and I get a similar vibe. He's just like a child in the studio (even during an interview) and it's nice to see that passion. You can't fake that. Amazing work as always.

a sample of björk taking apart a t.v becoming a defining lyric in the first song on the album that has seen them reach their absolute pinnacle is very very ‘75
-
That first demo is making me rethink everything.
-
I wish they would release a demo EP
-
Been listening to The 1975 for a long time now, this is the first time I heard George talk
-
That's crazy how the anxiety music has essentially become the starting jingle of the 1975 shows, I just got home from the Still At Their Very Best shows in London and a version of the anxiety music plays before the curtains drop
-
“The tension exists in the fact that it isn’t resolving.” Love that
-
It is an absolute crime to not release these Matty 😭😭😭😭
-
oh man that last “anxiety” track with no vocals…George’s electronic work is so beautiful. we need it!
-
This interview format with artists is so good
-
Been a 1975 fan for 11 years, just learned why they started each album with the self-titled track. Never thought I'd hear Matty say "SAY-GUH"
-
I hope George produces all the songs in the next album
-
They gotta stop listening to Jack Antonoff, these are mint
-
So that's the version they're playing before their show begins!! I have been searching for half a year for that version of It's About Time!
-
always felt like bfiafl's intro feels like watching a movie where the first few seconds of it are the main characters running in a big dried out field from something we dont really see. now i understand!!! i love hearing george and matty talk about it smmm and it made me love the final version of the intro so much more
-
george the brains behind the operation ladies and gentlemen
-
RELEASE ALL OF THEM!!!!!! I BEGGGGG 😭😭🙏🏼🙏🏼
