Ep 7: What Would Jennifer Stone & David DeLuise Have Changed About Wizards?

I would’ve loved to hear the story about David being served papers. Love this pod but sometimes I think Jennifer is quick to cut David off when she thinks viewers won’t be interested in something. We’re all adults now - we like hearing about how real life affected the show.

Please let David go into as much detail as possible, regarding behind the scenes of the industry! We don’t find it boring, we find it FASCINATING!! It’s super educational! I really wish Jennifer would let him talk about whatever David wants. He never stops and interrupts her or call her stories stupid or boring. LOVE this podcast, but we want all the stories that David has to tell!! Also, yes! She re-recorded the theme song.

As someone who is not an actor or in the industry, please explain those acting terms cause when Jen said that "Oh, no one wants to hear that boring acting stuff" I was like HUH i've never heard of that in my life and I want to know more!! LOL

I think we all appreciate when David is telling his stories. We all are grown up now, and it’s very exciting to hear what he has to say.

I love both of them, but I really appreciate how David elaborates on how things affected his life personally and explains things in a layman’s terms way. A lot of us don’t know how all of this would work. I would love to hear so much more from him. He’s a gem, as is Jennifer!

I wish they would've done a movie about how the parents of Wizards of Waverly Place met & how Jerry had to give up his powers to be with Teressa! We didn't get to see the process! 😎

“the fans are falling asleep” has to go… i love you both to death and would tune in weekly no matter what we talk about!!!

My only gripe is when Jen cuts off David saying viewers/listeners are falling asleep or they don’t care about what what he’s saying 😢 I want all the content! Idk if it’s a joke but the listeners do care !

It makes me so sad to hear David call himself fat. I never saw him as fat as a kid. Even when they made fat jokes, I thought they were pushing it. Sure, he was a big guy, but he was never "fat." He reminded me of a big teddy-bear-like guy.

Guys! We will watch 2-3 hours every Monday! I wanna hear allll of David and Jen’s stories! But I understand that Jen has a real life j-o-b and being in a time crunch in the brain all of the time. I do too and I understand that feeling of never having enough time. I’m always looking at the clock. So Jen is so relatable. But, whatever time you can give us for stories- we are here for it! Every second!! We’re not sleeping!!! ❤🎉

This podcast has given me a type of comfort that I haven’t felt before, thank you Jennifer and David!

I would’ve liked to hear the served papers on set story. I’m not sure how far out these are recorded, but I do wish Jen that you wouldn’t cut David off so much. The things he wants to talk about from behind the scenes and how things work is exactly what we want to be hearing. I know you’re used to hearing this stuff and it can seem boring to you, but we find it fascinating since we’ve never heard them and don’t know how things work. When you want to roll your eyes and poke fun at him for “pulling a DeLuise”, that’s when you should let him keep going. There are so many stories or thoughts that he starts that get cut off that I’m bummed to miss out on. Love the pod otherwise. It’s fun to hear what you both have to say.

Jennifer, 1 you are so gorgeous, your character on wizards was a comfort character for so many people and your transition into nursing is really inspiring and awesome and I just think you're a great person :) love this podcast. But ive noticed in every episode that some of the things that you note as boring and try to move on from quickly (like technical processes and stuff like that) are THE MOST INTERESTING THINGS TO HEAR ABOUT!! because people who arent in the industry have no idea how that stuff works and it's really cool to hear about it!!! The emotional experiences and behind the scenes fun facts are my favorite part of the show for sure, i eat it up when yall talk about the overnight sensation that was the show and allude to grievances with the writers (like who tf did David piss off in the writer's room for them to make every other line of his a meanspirited joke about him being fat when he was perfectly fit and it wasnt even funny) or backstage drama or wholesome moments but please go into more detail about technical aspects of the industry and things like that!!! It's not boring

I was with Jen until i searched for the theme song; congrats on your 50 bucks, David 💀 I'll have to rewatch because all this nostalgia is killing me when i can't remember 😂 i love seeing you guys doing this podcast 😭💙
